He's a modern day @Adnan@United_We_Stand pretty much keeps this thread active and interesting. Great effort mate
"Tuttosport has since followed up that the Parisians will present an opening offer of €40m to Juve in the next few days. However, the newspaper warns Bianconeri general manager Beppe Marotta is holding out for €50m"
How many weeks are left? This is not looking good at all.
We aren't offering anything if the papers are to be believed. So what are we offering, if 45m quid is the price. Or is it the usual one price for everyone else and a different one for us.
we should be ashamed if he goes there for that price"Tuttosport has since followed up that the Parisians will present an opening offer of €40m to Juve in the next few days. However, the newspaper warns Bianconeri general manager Beppe Marotta is holding out for €50m"
For what crime?

Initiating this new deadline day in a World Cup year was a disastrous feckin idea.3 weeks 3 days I think.

I think it's a really good idea, but only if it's UEFA wide. What happens when a player goes on strike to force through a move between August 9th and September 1st?Definitely but the whole league is in the same boat, the club knew it. I just hope it's not used as an excuse if we fail to get further targets especially if they didnt even participate in the WC.
Why? Because Duncan Castles says we want him?we should be ashamed if he goes there for that price
Depends how long they have left on their contract. If 3+ years then the club can just hold firm like Liverpool with Coutinho last summer. Once the window closes the player can't just keep going on strike.I think it's a really good idea, but only if it's UEFA wide. It wont affect it as the World Cup final will be on December 18th.I commented last year the window should end before the season starts. Then a few days later it was announced (Not implying it was due to my comment). The problem is it's the PL only.
Looking ahead, what is the Qatar WC going to do to the January window?
We're going to do more business but this window could be remembered for who we get rid of good or bad, rather than who we bring in.
At first glance it doesn't even look like Shaw in the picture. He's lost weight as you can tell in his cheeks but he's been to the same dentist as Firminio it seems.
Thanks. Was not aware it was going to be over by then.It wont affect it as the World Cup final will be on December 18th.
Real should be honoured that City are even after one of their players, why are they asking for money from them?
Do you think It's a question of money? I think that after so long in the bench he needs minutes, therefore I wouldn't understand if he goes to City.I'm pretty sure Kovacic will leave as he wants to and he's starting to annoy Florentino in the same way Ozil, Higuain, Di Maria, etc did and the president always tend to despise: asking for a raise when he simply does not deserve it, furthermore, in the completely wrong moment to ask for it. He was always good when playing for Real Madrid as a young squad member in development that could be first choice in the future when Kroos and Modric are gone, but that's not enough to get an elite salary right now, it's not his status, when he also barely played and was part of Croatia's success this WC. He will leave if a high fee arrives, and probably will, he's a really good prospect. Otherwise he can b*tch how much he wants, Florentino won't let him go.

I'd send him on loan
