They are a much better attacking side, they score goals for fun, and they have replaced Henderson and Wijnaldum, say, with Keita and Fabinho. The same Henderson/Wijnaldum who at times last season, out-performed our midfielders. A top-class GK and they're quite simply a better 11 than us, in my view.

But most importantly we have Jose, who might play ugly and alienate the footballing world but makes sure he wins every match by hook or by crook. I back him over Klopp. The only side he came second to spent something like 150m EUR more than us and had a better starting point on top.

W have had so many number 10s the last 6-7 years such as Mata now right back to Kagawa, yet we havent played a formation that includes a number 10 in all that time, one reason they have all failed being shunted to the sides. So where exactly would you play him in a 4-3-3, in Pogbas position? Pogba may well flourish with Fred beside him, evern though he has been inconsistant for us, apart from the last 3-4 months he has still been one of our best players the time he has been here....even though he should be better than he has been. I just dont think he has had the right partner, maybe why we bought Fred. If he has a bad season this year I would be all for selling him for these huge fees, if anybody would offer them, crazy to do it this summer, especially when we have at least 5/6 players should be getting moved on already.
Klopp did a great job last year buying players, the young left back from Hull, Van Dyke, Salah amongst others, he did address many problem areas and has a good midfielder and a potentially great one arrvign already. Why he hasnt signed a keeper the last 18months or so is beyond me though. They will definately challenge, there form was superb after they added players in January and they have two great youngsters too in Arnold and Gomez. Klopp was my first choice when Fergie retired, weird to see Liverpool playing football I enjoy more like our football and Mourinho has us playing more like Rafa Benitez Liverpool days, its painful. We are still two or three signings away from a potentially really good side in my opinion and Mourinho really needsto get those right....otherwise he will be gone by next summer I think, possibly all in tears and tantrums too
