You also compared Ander Herrera to Tom Cleverley, which is absurd.
Not really, very similar players, play in the same position, not really sure where the absurdity kicks in???

Anyone posted the tweet linking Pogba to Barcelona? Apparently unhappy with Jose.

"Bullied" fecking hell. He's a grown man who can do as he pleases. City really can't handle rejection.

I wonder are city going to have a hissy fit every time a player decides not to join them?

The amount of BS that comes out City when they miss out on a transfer is just so funny.

You seem quite sure of this as I've seen a few similar posts by you recently. Has he, or anyone else who would genuinely know, actually gone on record saying this or are you just speculating based on our supposed transfer targets over the past year?
I can't remember who or when, but a few journalists said we planned to play 3-5-2. You can see in the tour last year we played most the games like that, Lindelof was bought with 3-5-2 in mind. Perisic was supposed to be the extra wingback he wanted to play the formation, but once that failed I think he realised the squad didn't suit it, so we changed it to 4-2-3-1 and then 3-5-2.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us lining up like that again come pre season.

"According to La Repubblica newspaper, Liverpool remain the favourites for the shot-stopper and have sent out a new bid worth €60m plus €10m in bonuses, although Roma still want another €5m."

So City were literally going to buy Jorginho as a squad player and are furious that he chose instead to go somewhere where he'd be a vital starter. Under the manager who he's known for years.

Like Mahrez, they wanted him as a pure luxury.

Reminds me of them saying Laporte was meant to be a LB signing and not CB when they missed out on him the first time. They chat so much shit it's unreal.

Hang in there Pogs, hopefully by this time next year at the latest we'll have a new manager and a more expansive mindset, it would be sad to see him go before Mourinho.

I agree that it would be a big shame if things don't work out for him at United. But I think the principal cause of that is his lack of professionalism and determination. I hope this season he stops being a pussy (I don't use that word lightly).

There's been no issues with his professionalism or application under Allegri or Deschamps, he's only had problems with Mourinho who's man management is poor when it comes to players who aren't grizzled types.

I think it reflects badly on Mourinho that he is the only one who is failing to get a tune out of Pogba. Conte, Allegri, Deschamps don't have any problems with his application.

I can't really speak for his period at Juventus. All I seem to hear is that he had workers surrounding him allowing him to not take the responsibility he needs to at United. Then again, maybe he was just simply much better there because he had managers who understood how to deal with him. It's not the feeling I get. He frustrates the hell out of me because he doesn't have to withhold dynamism, skip tracking back or half-ass trying to win the ball back.

With France he's got a player next to him who takes all the defensive responsibility of the midfield. Did neither of you think he'd be able to play in a midfield two before we bought him? I thought he'd become the best box to box midfielder on the planet because of the talent that's there.
