We need to get Sarri sorted this week.

Then two of Seri, Golovin & Jorghino need to follow.

Wilshire must have been desperate..
What's wrong with going to West ham ?
He's still in London, gets to play football for a decent sized club with lots of history and a very good epl winning manager . Wasn't wanted at Arsenal , where should he have went?

Just gone through 2 pages of tweets and it seems we are not linked with anyone.

And the calibre of those signings massively surpassed the ones we've brought in so far.

True - I didn't even think of that...

I can't see us signing any of the players left in the WC, so I'm confused as to what the hold up is with us getting our business done.

We're trying to save money?

Trying not to overpay, or sell for less than market value (see Darmian). In fairness, that is standard practice for clubs not funded by sovereign states.

The problem we have (along with everyone else in the Premier League) is that our window closes in a month, while the rest of Europe still has another 7 weeks - difficult to win a game of brinkmanship under those circumstances.

Exactly, I think it's a good move from him.

Does he seriously believe players sign for Manchester fecking United only for money then? I know he is an ITK and gets fed these lines by City but he could have worded it differently as in "City assume..." or so to not make it sound like he agreed with it.

Funny that he used to support United and switched to City purely due to being their mouthpiece, despite still claiming he supports United.

The City are the holiest of all clubs and the sun shines out of Pep's posterior narrative is so tired by now. Chelsea never got this type of love from the press. I think City must pay a bunch of these shills to spin it this way. How else have they already spent the most money in the history of English football and Pep has outspent Jose but all we hear is how United are Moneybags FC and throwing dirty money everywhere?

The thought that a player, especially a talented one wants to play for City because of Manchester City is hilarious. If City only signed players that "want to play for them" they'd have just competed with West Ham for Wilshire (and maybe lost) and would probably be forced to use their amazing youth system we always hear about. They'd be premier league cannon fodder in reality.

Chelsea never gave the media the level of pampering that city do. They lay on a fine spread for the press at every home game. They have gone big on the PR side of it and this is why they get so many fluff pieces from their pals in the media.

Good to see City’s bullshit being called out

If Cox is trying to take the piss out of City's stance then I don't see how that analogy makes sense. If I were to calk on tailor swift and then she came back and said well Tom fc also wants to feck me and he's offering me lobster dinner on a private plane and I should match or go further than his offer would you still want tailor swift who is basically only going to the highest bidder and not actually care about you as a person?

The main points is that Taylor Swift deserves a Lobster dinner , because she is Taylor swift , not a Mc Donalds burger even if you have are a good person.

We need to thank the head of city's PR for choosing to turn a normal market condition into something we can all laugh at them for

I'm just saying it's a poor analogy because of you're looking a woman you not looking for a woman that wants to go to the highest bidder. Tailor swift deserves noting she has it all and there's no reason I should have a wallet measuring contest with another man to get her even if I'm richer

I think in this scenario you're trying to impress Taylor Swift with a Porsche and then, after she goes on a date with a guy that has a Bugatti, try to tell everyone that you're not really that interested anyway, since she's just a shallow bitch.

If they can keep Arnautovic, they have a quite good team for a team which finished 13th last season.

No one will recognise the West Ham team that plays at Anfield in a few weeks.
