Far too late. Can't seen him bringing his success from Napoli or Juve to the PL, now.

Me neither. 30 now, he has a year or two left in his tank and will score a decent amount of goals, since he is more of a season striker than tournament one, but i dont fear him at all.

Ronaldo has had his best years. Short term thinking if we spunk a fortune hoping for a few successes.

We need to look to the future.

I think we need a short term fix i.e. a title, and soon. The longer we go without one the closer we get to becoming Liverpool and the harder the title becomes to win.

Higuain to Chelsea, Sandro to United and BOOM! CR7 to Juventus. Well maybe another one or two sales before that can happen.

Is it fair to say that Higuain was a flop for Juve?
Bought two years back for 90 million and despite the market exploding after that, he's being sold for 60 million.
Not to mention he didn't help them win the CL, which is the main reason why they bought him for 90 million.

Also don't think it's a good move from Chelsea. He's oldish slow and on the decline. I can see him struggling in the PL

I think Morata will go the other way for around the same price, a swap that isn't a swap, if that makes sense.

Ronaldo is not going to Juve, that's absoltue nonsense. he wants another payrise, end of story.

Madrid officially denied reports of Mbappe transfer.

Yea I saw that. We could have done stuff like that concerning Gaitan or Fabinho.

Pretty sure we did, i can remember reading Gill denied the deal was happening and contacted the Benfica president personally to tell him to put a stop to the rumours.

And for 200 players more

I doubt we are linked continuously to that many players for years, with various sources citing deal to be done in 24 hours etc. Not to mention, we likely did hold an interest in many of those 200 players, but just didn’t sign for many reasons.

And lastly, many of the 200 we were not pursuing at all were Neymar or Mbappé.

I recall, just not a statement as such.

I call for a transparent window similar to the draft picks in American football. Let everyone see who is up for sale and bidding for what. Separate the wheat from the chaff. Those cnuts stealing a living off of BS would wither and die.

The clubs, players and agents all know who is bidding for who in any case all this cloak and dagger crap is pointless and boring.

if the rumours are true and he would be around £80M then I think it would be daft not to. He still has at least 2 seasons of elite goal scoring in him which would be worth it in terms of getting us back where we want to be.

Would it be fair to say that Morata was a complete flop for Chelsea? They dropped £58m on him last summer only to drop similar amount on Higuain this summer.

Higuain and Sandro basically finance Ronaldo's fee for Juve, considering their highest earner in Buffon is already off to PSG and Higuain also gone they might've enough to pay Ronaldo. Fascinating stuff.

Sorry yeah I meant Qatar, there were a few articles about it when Qatar was accepted as WC 22 host.

hmm. It may be difficult to find a verifiable link online. I used to always think why man city and RM never seem to compete for players or have drama around players being tapped up between them that I have noticed anyway. Then When I go and work in Dubai it becomes clear. There are numerous adverts and business interests between the Royal family (owner of man city) and real Madrid. Their are credit cards and finance stuff marketed under the RM logo and player pictures etc.

All seems a bit ott for me

First Neymar and then Mbappe.

They must be terrified about PSG. Does the PSG owner have investment or leverage over Perez or something?
Perez has business interests in Qatar.
