We should bid £60m. He can be a replacement if Lukaku gets injured, and sometimes we can play both of them, one of them as a RW.
Wouldn't be opposed as him as a squad option. He was excellent at Juve in that role. However I think one of the issues is that he'd much prefer to be in Italy or Spain. He was making noises basically as soon as he arrived at Chelsea that made it sound like it wasn't his cup of tea.

Good the price for Spurs should be twice what it would be for most other clubs. They've been a pain in the arse to negotiate with for years whenever United try to buy a player, time for a taste of their own medicine.

Maybe they'll still be a pain in the arse to negotiate when try to buy players? Especially player like Martial who clearly wants to leave.

Funny a year ago Madrid were expecting us to pay 90m for Morata.

And you paid 90m + Rooney for Lukaku which is quite the same or even worse. In PL last season Morata had better goal per minutes ratio then Rom with all the problems he had. Injuries, chronic back pain, adaptation to new league etc With better midfielders (not Fabregas and Drinkoyoko) and attacking manager next season he will improve massively.

Why would any young player go to Chelsea anymore? They must know they never get the chance to play for them?
Good question. When Drinkwater and Barkley barely make the team, and the prospects they have/had in Loftus-Cheek and Chalobah almost didn't get any play time I'm really unsure how Golovin would get in there. I know he's more of an attacking midfielder, but still.

On another point, a new manager might change that somewhat, but I can't see Sarri playing anymore youngsters than the previous managers. Will just have to wait and see. Don't know how reliable the source is though.

Go there have some read, lest bringing up this debate (stupid reasoning regarding goal per minutes).

Except we didn't. He cost 75 mill, some media mention add-ons but the club denied it, along with Rooney being included in the deal.

Flog.

Lukaku vs Morata is not even a debate anymore. Let it go.

Yes I agree totally, please make all the Chelsea fans sign a petition to keep Morata for 10 more years and give him a new contract while you are at it
Clearly the best striker in the world

Absolute garb.
He was so poor you had to bring Giroud in, who then effortlessly kept him out

All the people hating at him for the last few years with United should remember themselves what he did for this for many, many years!

Yes, he was frustrating at times - as a teenager when he had issues with his discipline and later on when he clearly wasn't ready anymore for top-class fottball - however in the end he became the top goal scorer of this great club because he was giving his everything!

Thats up to them, but if they keep acting like dicks every time United try to buy one of their players like we are massive rivals but happily deal with City. Then United shouldn't sell them any player.

A lot of talk atm regarding Kroos and Madrid.

Could we line up like this next year?

De Gea (4/1/2/1/2)

Valancia Baily Rojo Alex Sandro
Matic
Fred Kroos
Pogba
Lukaku Sanchez?

If valancia and Sandro could provide the width? Kroos and Fred bossing midfield with Pogba at 10?

Then Sanchez and Lukaku up top? Maybe could work!

Wouldn't mind Golovin at Arsenal, he's a proper talent that's for sure. And for the price being quoted, peanuts. Bargain for Chelsea if they obtain him.

Don’t think it was hatrid more frustration. It was obvious in his last 2 seasons with us he was not up to standard. We were frustrated that he was still playing. I don’t think I could ever hate Rooney.
When he started he was such a brilliant player for us. Like brilliant brilliant not a hyperbole. He had aggression desire could shoot finish just class. Was a great player for us and was a winner

Not read the article, but it sounds reassuring. Wherever he goes on loan he needs to play in the position we want him in next season though. I don't mind him playing right back all season if that's where he's going to play for us, but it's pointless if not.

I've only seen one tweet mentioning Kroos. Have you seen more?
