I doubt we'll sign another central defender this summer under 25. It will be an experienced defender for a fairly large fee or nothing. I'd imagine we will monitor Lenglet and De Ligt and if Bailly doesn't prove he can stay fit and Lindelof can't dramatically improve we'll get another young defender next year. That's also assuming Jones does a Jones this year which is about 101% likely.

We had him for 6 months at Aberdeen. Flattered to deceive a little but got the talent. Got targeted and hid a little sometimes but scored a cracking last minute free kick against Rangers which made him a favourite. Interesting to see how he does.

All in for this. Although, I would not be averse to signing Lenglet either. 35m release clause. Right in the sweet spot in terms of age, maturity and room to grow as well.

Barcelona are rumoured to have activated his release clause though and they were favourites for de Ligt as. Doubt they would get both.

I personally don't see CB as a high priority, but bringing in someone like De Ligt would give him time to slowly be bedded into the squad like how we plan to do with Dalot. That seems like the Man Utd approach of old which I am always a huge fan of.

I'm not saying we shouldn't sign someone like Kovacic, and it would be a really good signing if we sign him. Just wondering where you would put him in our team. I would rather we sign a backup for Matic in our midfield as he plays every game and seems to not be able to be fit for every game anymore. That being said, do you think Kovacic could play that role as well?

I meant Kovacic as sight sided attacker (not exactly winger) similar to Koke for Atletico or Eriksen, not in a role of b2b which is for Fred

Ah okay, so like a playmaker on the right side of attack I suppose. Well, he is right footed, and if he could drift wide on the right and provide width on that side I'd absolutely take him.

Ziyech is a talented player for sure. He's ready for a bigger league but I don't think he has the physique for the PL. He's a #10 anyway, think we have enough of those. The only Eredivisie players we should be considering are De Ligt and maybe Lozano if he proves himself during the WC.

He kicked on a lot this season, lot of end product. If he replicates it in the PL then Leicester have a player on their hands. Many don't though.
 
Juve are running out of CBs. Sold Bonucci, Barzagli is knocking on the door of the geriatric ward and Chiellini not far behind, and now they're selling their brightest prospect for a pittance?

Caldara is going back there from a loan season and Juve apparently consider him a bigger talent.
 
Nainggolan has had big clubs chasing him for years but always talked about he loved Roma and wanted to stay there as long as possible and now he's joining a not very good Inter. Seems weird.
 
Jorginho is a good player, interesting what will that mean for B.Silva though. Joined them to set on the bench on hope he'll take over David Silva just to find them signing Jorginho. Not to count Gundogan as well.
