How can you 'guarantee' Alisson won't go to Madrid and that it's 'obvious' that they only want De Gea otherwise?
Even if De Gea is their number 1 target, we are not going to give him up easily and are likely to demand a huge fee for him. It's naive to think Real won't have various other alternatives in place, Alisson possibly being one of them.

feck, where did this come out of? Not too pushed. I've seen nothing from Lindolf to show me he even has the potential of a brilliant CB. Both Rojo and Blind are better than him in the air too, each smaller than him.
If we get rid of Lindolf & Smalling/Jones and sign Lenglet and Tony I'd be extremely happy.
I wouldn't believe everything what is written if I was you, paper needs to sell... not sure why would Lindelof give up after one season when Mourinho showed trust in him despite him being unconvincing most often than not..
In fact I'd welcome the move for the reasons you mentioned, we could get the most of the money we paid for him too but probably it is just a made up rumour..

Have to give Lindelof a chance to prove that he can improve and be a good CB for United at least.
He is pretty bad timing the defensive header but even Lukaku was not that good earlier in the season. He prefers ball to his feet more than long balls but Lukaku's progression is rather rapid compared to Lindelof. However, Lindelof did show he can improve his weaknesses as well, so the signs are there. He is still work in progress. Just like most of the players.

Lindelof got better as the season went on, he was actually our best player in 2 or 3 of the games. He needs more time, would rather ship out Blind and Rojo first. To say Blind is better in the air is somewhat ridiculous but of course respect your opinion.

What games are you talking about? We could pretty much stick Phil Jagielka in our defensive unit against relegation fodder and he would look like the "best defender" on certain occasions if he won a few headers. That's not the point. Thus far and given his price, Lindelof has shown very, very little promise and really needs to step up to salvage his career at United. Another season like this and it's out on loan to Fulham.

Agreed. I’d like to keep him for now. He was solid for the last few months, he can build on that.
