Not surprising when they're wanting £75M for Alderweireld and £50M for Rose. We have same problems dealing with Real Madrid but our desire to have Bale would probably outweigh the fee they'd demand for Bale from us if it came down to it.

Not sure about that, they seem going for midtable quality, I'd be more concerned if they went for the likes of Lemar, Fekir, Oblak, etc.
Their signings don’t wow me but it’s better than when they used to do nothing until the end of the window under Wenger.

If we’re brutally honest, it must be in the back of his mind that he’d be a triple champions league winner but for a fax machine...
I don’t blame him for potentially wanting to go to Madrid. Just hope his love for United keeps him here; I’m positive that he feels a sense of loyalty to us for giving him the platform to be the best keeper in the world.
Oblak is unreachable and on the contrary i'd be more concerned if we went and spent another 100m on attacking midfielders.
They might not be big names but they are positions we desperatly need.
We will definitely hear about this all summe, Ramos etc will be convincing him to join, the press will continue to hound him. The best time to join Madrid was three seasons ago, I doubt they will storm to another CL title this season (I could be wrong) with Ronaldo and Bale’s futures in doubt too. The only reason I can see De Gea leaving this summer is because he wants to return to Spain. I just hop we can push on next season and keep him because he is a key part to our team.
