Griezmann replacement I hope. Were they linked with him much? It seemed to go under the radar.

Just a hunch.You lie!!!
Never heard of him
Lemar, Vitolo, Correa, Saul, Koke..Atletico have some good options and depth for their wide positions. They were linked to Sidibe, Lemar and Fabinho, so not a big surprise I guess
Liverpool's interest seems past and he never really wanted Arsenal
It looks more like a Vitolo replacement...

Quite cheap IMO, quite a few clubs missed a trick here. He is actually a good midfielder. 2 seasons in a row now where he played well consistently and seems like a bit of a hidden gem.
I followed him more last year tbf, but he's a very good player. Or was, based on that season.
Bet Monaco are gutted they've missed out on £30m .
My gut feeling is that they haven't missed out on that much. There is no way Arsenal offered 95M straight up. It was probably a base of around 60, and then all sorts of clauses to make up the rest. If the Atletico deal is about 55M up front and another 10 in bonuses, then in real, immediate terms the difference is minimal. It's if the player is a big success and you miss out on all the potential bonuses that it becomes an issue. But I guess that's why they included a resale clause.
This will be yet another uninspiring signing
Same here. Ronaldo has become too much of a diva now as well, whereas Bale seemed pretty grounded.I'd be genuinely disappointed if United signed Ronaldo, would much prefer Bale.

"It is understood United manager Mourinho has suspended a move for Rose after adding full-back Diogo Dalot to his list of options at left-back, behind Ashley Young and Luke Shaw.
The Portuguese has told vice chairman Ed Woodward not to pursue Rose at the moment and to focus his attention elsewhere, with a central defender a greater priority."

Only the past week I believeGriezmann replacement I hope. Were they linked with him much? It seemed to go under the radar.
I think the fact that no one has bid for shaw and he doesn't want to leave, is another reason. May as well focus elsewhere.I called this. Delot can get his game time on both sides which frees up money for other positions.
TFM coming back could play into this as well
