Weird. Dismantling their midfield after qualifying for the Champion's League, plus the managerial hijinks. They better hold out for more money for Jorginho as they'll need a lot of Euros to replace their midfield (assuming Hamsik is also off).
I think Zielinski is ready to take over for Hamsik. But Jorginho will certainely need replacing. Torreira from Samp would be a nice pickup for them. Although they have been grooming Diawara for that role it seems.

Actually its the centre back position where he has seemed most comfortable for us and had his best games for us under LVG . He has done mostly average in left back position . He was most underwhelming in the defensive midfielder position . His lack of pace really hindered his chances but he hasn't been as bad for our team as people make him out to be .

With a year remaining on his contract a fee between 12-15 million pounds will be a fair price for him if he remains in the EPL . The price will go down a bit if he moves to another league . I do feel he will be most comfortable in the Italian league since it feels more his pace . He will be a shrewd signing for Inter if they pursue it . But I do believe negotiations won't be quite simple owning to the hostilities from the Perisic bid last season . Also they have FFP issues too so they will try to lowball us .

Its all opnion, personally think he was an average left back and central midfielder (though I think he was best there) and an awful centre back, always caught out by flick ons, bullied strength wise and lacking in pace. I think he is an intelligent footballer, but a very average one, we didnt pay much for him anyway, was a decent squad signing and neven with a year left £10-15m is still a bargain in todays market for a team, but rightfully sold

Obviously due to the World Cup but absolutely nothing happening at the moment, very frustrating for muppets.

Maybe it's an alternative. He's a better player for slightly more money.

It is not slightly more. I doubt the report is true anyway. Look at their Jorginho offer, they arent paying over the odds for players anymore

Mahrez to united then?? I mean if City are after alternatives to Mahrez then where's he going?? I'd have him here for sure, and definitely over Costa.

I want to play this game once

Spanish deny their physical & financial massive doping

Italians always think they are still in the 90s

English are utterly deluded with the PL actual value

Dutch are still in awe of their distant Cruyff past

Portuguese exploit their South American connections

French are racist and do not understand football
How many will see the irony, I wonder?

More explosive, not drifting in as much, and Pep has worked with him before. Price sounds ridiculous though.
..and Pep was so happy with him that he benched him and he was shipped off to Juve. So of course he will buy him „back“ for €100m.

Costa's best form at Bayern came when Pep was manager.

Ancelotti was the one who benched him and he was then shipped to Juve.

Is it me or is Serie A one of the leagues where transfers between top clubs is ridiculously common? The teams are constantly improving their rivals' squads, it seems. Cases in point: Bonnuci (Juve-Milan), Higuain (Napoli-Juve), Pjanic (Roma-Juve), El-Shaarawy (Milan-Roma) from the top of my head.

The top Italian managers seem to keep rotating around each team in the league too.

Well, Higuain was sold for double his real value, so Napoli did well in fetching all that cash... Bonucci fell out with Allegri and probably had a gentleman’s agreement in place... and El-Shaarawy is average. Pjanic is great though

An absolute bargain IMO.
He's a decent player, but hasn't really shown anything to make him better than a mid-table signing. His best season was in 15/16 for Everton where he scored 2 and assisted 8 in the league. Is 24 years now, so he should have developed a bit more output then he has. That being said, a club like Watford could be good for him.

Yeah it's strange. Lots of ridiculous loan deals too where shall clubs will just loan their prized asset with an agreement to buy at the end for next to nothing. I'm sure there's some money laundering or something going on.

Really? He’s useless.

Can't say I agree. Sure, he is not a world beater, but on his day, he is a really exciting player to watch. I think this will prove to be a good piece of business for Watford.

13 million Euros is peanuts for a Premier League club these days.

Yeah. Happens in Premier league too. Only between United and City/Pool doesn't have much action.

You have to add Spurs in this, they sold Bale and Modric to Real Madrid for less price than what we offered. Chelsea learnt their mistakes, they probably won't deal with us again in the future. It seems Arsenal is the only club that would be happy to sell their best player to us.

I’m pretty sure we sold Benayoun and Raul Meireles to Chelsea. Sturridge went from Chelsea to Liverpool.
