Of course there's a need. With Zlatan and Rooney going we'll be light in attack.

If we had Griezmann, Martial and Rashford all available to play as striker next season that's more than enough. Mbappe is my muppet signing but looks like he will be staying at Monaco another year. Just not keen on Bellotti as unlike all the above he can't play out wide and/or behind the striker.

Are you the AI Fifa 17 uses for Man Utd? :D Off topic, but every Career Mode I've played, Man Utd stockpiles strikers with what you could potentially play a GK with 11 strikers. Your post reminded me of exactly that. lol.

No need for Bellotti IMO. At least Griezmann can cover a number of attacking positions. Bellotti would just be blocking Rashford and Martial's chances up top and unlike Ibra he's young enough to be around for years.

So you would have a problem with Belotti being here for years and scoring many goals, because other players wouldn't be scoring them instead?

If Belotti came and stayed here for years, I'd imagine he would be doing what it says on the tin and scoring lots of goals. I want Martial and Rashford to play too, but would prefer a situation where whichever of the three played would do so because they were on form as opposed to because we just sold everyone else and didn't replace them. We tried that with Rooney last year.

Hope we keep him, we won't get much for him and he's a very good squad option due to his versatility and defensive strength.

Played pretty well recently too, shows he does have something in his locker and is a useful option.

Should really consider staying at Fulham for another season.

He's worth around what we paid for him. He may wish to play regular football and be angling for a move.

Left back option? For his sake don't go!! Unless Klopp see's some Gareth Bale career path for him.

He doens't even play left back for Fulham so I doubt he has any short-terms plans for him. He will be a brilliant player, but he is not good enough top club yet...he should stay with Fulham 1-2 seasons more

Agreed - it's funny as Rojo and Darmian were two players I definitely wanted gone at the start or in the middle of he season - I want them both to stay now (obviously with Darmian being a squad option rather than a starter)

Oblak would be my #1 choice. If there's any truth in this, I'd be very happy as Oblak is an excellent replacement and also, we're clearly looking to get this tied up nice and early. IF, there's any truth in it, that is.

Any idea what Oblak's buyout is?
Somewhere between 80-100m euros, I don't think we'll be paying that but it'll cost us for someone of his talents.

A side note, I know the MEN is generally unreliable but hearing Oblak's name mentioned is always more reassuring than some alternatives we've been linked with.

40m for Xhaka, can't stretch to double that for the new Henry

Is it compulsory for Spanish teams to have buyout clauses for all players? That doesn't seem to be the case with the English teams.
