Mourinho seems the type who will let players go if their mind is at another club though.
Oh definitely, you tell him you want to go and he will sell you. He will also sell anyone for a decent fee. He is a chequebook manager, he sold Schurrle and Filipe Luis just to sign Baba Rahman and Cuadrado ffs. Who does that?! Sells Mata to Moyes, just to sign fecking Salah. He is a idiot sometimes lol

Interesting? They were right or thought to be right in regards to mkhi and shaw.

I hope they've just spelled Rooney really wrong.

Been thinking he's one to go for a while. It makes sense I'd just be pissed if Fellaini stayed and Mata didn't. Both from a forgotten era though.

No surprise for me, we need a serious goal scorer in his position with Mhiki playing 10. Replace Mata and Rooney with goals IMO
Mata gets us about 10 goals a season we need a 20 goal player in his position wide right.

The surgery is/was a strange one however given Mata was starting most weeks I find it hard to believe Mourinho thought nah feck it let's rule him out for the season because I'm selling him

Especially as Zlatan was also out at the time and Mourinho immediately name-checked them together as big losses:

"Zlatan and Mata are the ones with the most goals. If they are not there the situation gets even more difficult."

He then followed that by criticising all our other attackers more than once for not scoring enough.

All that considered, the idea that he knowingly ans deliberately hamstrung the team at a crucial point of the season is nonsensical.

Not a Transfer Tweet but in my dream last night Stanis Baratheon told me we'd be signing a Chelsea player this summer. My guses is Willian.
Stannis? You must be such a dull individual

Also landing Kroos isn't so far fetched as some of you might think.
£300k a week just to match what he makes right now. Considering he'd want a raise, you'd probably have to give him £350k a week to have a chance, assuming we don't match it and he wants the new challenge

He can't be making that much, can he? He's making around 10 million after taxes, right?

Yep. Tax rate in UK is at 45% at that level iirc. That means around £15M a year if i'm not wrong

If Mata did leave, I would like Isco to be his replacement.

I don't think Joe Hart is the answer to our goal keeping issues.

Not saying we will but I am pretty sure the Madrid pay structure is set up in a different way. I think they player's image rights are completely with Madrid and they tend to make a decent buck off it. Maybe you can correct me if I am wrong.

Joe Hart isn't a top tier goalkeeper as proven by his constant errors playing for England. Simply not good enough.

Tottenham going for Keane makes sense as they could do with another CB.

He's the English Mignolet. Could look excellent in matches but has a potential to make an error. Hasn't really progressed well from City's first title win where he was genuinely very good.

Indeed, they'd be swapping one average keeper for another (higher paid) average keeper.

I think we will, Spurs have to finance new stadium and 40m is worth more to them than Dier is. Dier , however, is worth more than the £ is for us.

If it's true Tottenham is interested in Keane than it means they'll just redirect the money we give them and Keane won't come cheap, around 30 million for sure.

And we have that clause in which we get a piece of the cake.

We're not getting Dier.
I'd sure hope so. The fact that they keep mentioning him makes me more nervous. It would be so like us to sign the worst player in Spurs' starting XI.
