Who is Gomes? Don't you guys mean Renato Sanches?
André Gomes (Not Gomez as earlier mentioned), transferred for €35 million - same fee for Renato Sanches

Wasn't that from Valencia to Barcelona - not the Portugese league? Or was that the fee for his move from Benfica to Valencia?André Gomes (Not Gomez as earlier mentioned), transferred for €35 million - same fee for Renato Sanches
Get him back in a player/coach role. He probably isn't at the level required, but his personality can only be a good thing to have around the club.
Suso was killing him in the Supercup last week. I would still take him back on a short term deal though, big personality and leader who was a mentor to Pogba and can do something similar with others maybe, particularly Shaw.Anyone watches Juventus that can clarify which level he is currently playing at? He lost a step in his last year with us, and the pace and intensity is a lot lower in the Serie A, might not be a good idea.
Nailed on as a club ambassador whenever he calls it quits though, one of our greatest personalites ever, and he is still a red by heart.
Doubt he'd be coming back to us. Darmian, Blind and Shaw are all used there. He will go to a midtable club.
Mourinho still rates Darmian quite highly given the number of games he's played over Blind.Darmian is shit.
Shaw is always injured or unfit.
Blind has been steady.
For me makes sense to sign him up
His leadership alone would be an immense addition. Might even be a calming influence on Pogba and more importantly Martial.

Shaw at 18 played quite a bit better than Evra at 32 did in the 2013/2014 season. Shaw has since improved a fair bit, while Evra has only gotten worse. To put into context Darmian was in the Seria A team of the year a few years back and most want him out now, so Evra's performances for Juve (although his level has dropped this season) isn't likely to be reproducible for us in the premier league. Evra can undoubtedly return, but it shouldn't be as a player, but rather as a club ambassador or as a full back coach.
I didn't watch him an awful lot of him at Southampton tbh. But at the least, he's improved positionally and technically. Regardless, my point was about why it wouldn't be a good move to bring back Evra as a player. I'd love to have him back at the club for other reasons though.I'd say at the very best he's playing at the same level. Possibly even regressed slightly.
He's still playing regularly for France, isn't he? Can't be that bad if that's the case. Would love to see back here as a backup for Shaw and i'm sure he wouldn't mind that
