Hopefully this means they wont go for Dolberg.
When we come knockingPulisic, Mor, Isak, Dembele, Weigl, Guerriero
On top of that Merino and Passlack (I don't know how good they are).
Bloody hell Dortmund will have some squad in the future. It's almost a shame the majority of them will be sold
Do you want United to go for Dolberg?
Monaco are after him too apparently.
Recently we have been getting players if we think someone is going to jump in ahead of us.If it's us, then it doesnt really make sense. I dont mind buying in young players, but when Martial is barely getting a look in, and we have weaknesses in midfield, I would question why we would spend £25m+ on a kid that would be competing with Martial, Rashford, Mhki, Mata and Rooney for a position.
After Guedes?
Yeah, I saw that earlier this week.
Yes, I think he's the 2nd best option to groom as our #9 for when Ibra leaves after next season.
Who would be the best option?
Guedes to Monaco and Bernardo Silva to United would be lovely.
It was sold that way. Not specifically to United but Bernardo Silva and Lemar are probably going to leave and Monaco needs one player to replace them since Boschilia is already in the team but Traoré has been good in wide areas too.
I'd take Silva or Lemar here, they are excelling wide in an actual 4-4-2, not that I expect us to play that system again but their qualities would be welcome here.
Yeah, nowadays it's rare to see attacking midfielders who are able to play wide in all the formations but also play as CM or #10 in a diamond.
Portuguese media love linking us to Benfica players don't they?
Mourinho has already said that the January window is just for emergencies. We're getting nobody until Summer.

Weren't you telling me a few months ago that we can't rely on a Rashford to replace Ibra and that all successful teams never rely on a teenager to lead the line?
Yes but we are at a point where there are no senior options of the quality required, Lewnadowski re-signed with Bayern, Aubameyang doesn't suit Jose's system and I don't think Real will be selling Benzema. That means we have to look at a younger player who has the right attributes to follow Ibra into the role.

Worlds better then Dolberg, as is Belotti. Not denying Dolbergs huge talent. But we don't need any more talentsIcardi?
Icardi?
What does Dolberg provide in terms of attributes that Rashford doesn't?
He's a good goal scorer but a limited player, Jose favours #9's that can be the attacking fulcrum, plus Icardi is a bit of a thundercnut with a 3rd rate Kardashian wife as his agent, not sure the club want to invite that circus inside Old Trafford.
Technique, hold up ability and bringing the wide forwards into play. Rashford is the same as when Jose had Eto'o and played him on the RW because his strength was pace to run in behind, but not the attributes Jose likes in a #9. Rashford is already showing improvement on the wing.
Woody in Dortmund - kid in a candy shop, kid with his parents credit card.
I'm not convinced Dolberg is that much better technically. To be honest I think you're making premature concrete conclusions on exactly what each player is going to be like based on their first 8 or so months of their senior football careers. Just because Rashford has been deployed on the wing doesn't mean he's going to develop into a winger, and just because Dolberg has shown a couple of attributes that might be better than Rashford's in the Dutch league doesn't really mean much.
It's a tad early to be judging all of this. If pushed however, I would say that Rashford has shown more at a level miles higher than any level Dolberg has played at, and there's certainly not enough reason to choose Dolberg over Rashford to lead the line, if anything it would be the opposite.
Bayern could get a decent team in 3-4 years
