Wasn't there something ridiculously daft about that though? IIRC at the time he was an important player or prospect for them, and the Spurs offer was like 2m initially and the rest over 7 years?

Good, he's an international starter and he should be playing regularly. We already have Joel Pereira knocking on the door to make room for. Ofcourse we hope neither is a serious option and De Beard stays for another 12 years.

Kessie's looked bloody good anytime I've seen him tbh. Kinda has that Kante vibe about him. Only 20, wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a big name.
So which is it? Kessie or Bakayoko. Personally I prefer Kessie but he is more similar to Pogba .

I've followed Kessie's progress for about a year and ½ and it's been rapid. Originally a central defender, he was moved into midfield and it's easy to see why. He has a good engine and is a direct player that wants to move the ball towards the oppositions goal. Strong with functional technique which enables him to hold up the ball to bring his team mates into play. He seems to have great determination as well. He's not afraid to run at markers. Seems made for the PL.
Functional player and there where whispers Mourinho phoned him in November. Don't know what it would mean for Fosu-Mensah if he was brought in as i see TFM with a future in midfield in a boxbox role and we have Herrera there. Maybe Mourinho sees him as a defender? Herrera in a holding role?

Makes more sense to move to Dortmund instead of Real for the young boy. They would have Dembele, and Isak to spearhead their attack for years to come. Well, at least, until Real comes knocking.
