I agree have a feeling that has more to do with Mourinho's influence at the club rather than Woodward learning the art of transfer deals but no doubt much better buisness from us, hopefully Woodward takes this stance for the foreseeable future.

I don't get why people get so personal against current/ex players of ours. He's 22 years old and has yet to mature into an adult, he has lots of money so of course he's going to make mistakes along the way. So what he didn't do well for United, it doesn't mean people have to belittle him and his efforts elsewhere.
Seems like I'm one of a few that would like him to go and succeed at Lyon, he's still got time on his side to turn it around.
Unless Rashford and Martial suddenly improve their presence and holding up play, we would need a physical imposing forward to replace Zlatan in the long run.

Lad may well need to be a big fish in a small pond, not every player has the mentality to play for a big club. Never heard anyone ever from United complain about his training or match preparation. For me he confidence is shot, he needs the right manager and right club to get him back on track.

This. Full respect to him and I really hope he does well at Lyon and lives up to his early potential. The only thing about that photo was that he looks like a bit lost on confidence - whereas he had that bit of arrogance in his eyes (which is a good thing) when he first signed for United.
That's batshit crazy. Unless they're sure they're going down, why sell him? They likely won't be able to buy anyone of that level.
