Why wouldn't they take that? They have 3 better wide players in Mahrez, Albrighton and Grey and 2 better LBs in Fuchs and Chilwell. Maybe they are just trying to get the number higher. But 9M could help them as they still need a CB, another CM (even with Ndidi) and will likely need to replace Mahrez in the summer.

I understand why Pulisic thinks Schlupp's pace can help West Bromn counter attack and move Chadli to the 10 spot, but surely for 9M there is a Ligue 1 or Bundesliga winger with some pace and crossing ability available.

fecking Leipzig buying up Salzburg
I'd really like to see contracts of RB Salzburg players, i.e. if they are allowed to turn moves to RB Leipzig down.

Seems possible. Mourinho ruled it out, but Benfica are preparing to sell him, since when does it have to be to us? Maybe even using us to up the price for another real buyer.

Small hope but it would be great if this would mean that we get Semedo right now instead in the summer.

Don't think we need him yet, Valencia's having a great season. I'm much more concerned about our left back position.

He does, but if we can we should buy him now. He gets 6 months to get adjusted to PL and be a backup. Next season Valencia will be 32 and with (hopefully) CL and PL getting more demanding every year we will need them both. On top of that he is drawing attention from other top teams...the sooner we get him the easier it will be...and cheaper.

The little teenage American winger is West Brom's manager already? Wow, talk about burning through a playing career.

It seems like yesterday when he was an 18 year old playing for Dortmund :p

According to the Croatian press Perisic will be joining Barca even though Mourinho is not giving up and he really wants him. Wonder what to make of that. We have so many quality wingers. It really is the last position we need to be thinking about.

Would a contract denying them that option even be legal? Doubt it though I have to admit I'm not a big expert on austrian law

It's probably bullshit like their rumor about Rakitic to City.

I wouldn't mind Perisic but he is a personal favorite of mine because I have seen him develop as a player at club brugge (which I also support) and been following him ever since. Having him play for United would be very nice.

I like Perisič, but I don't think he's should necessarily be a target for us. Still, he's good enough that I'd trust Jose if he went for him.

Mkhitaryan, Martial...what other quality wingers do we have?

They are not even your typical wingers. Given the opportunity they'd rather play centrally
Martial is a arguably as efficient on the left wing as he is centrally, but I agree with you with Mkhitaryan (he's better as a CAM). But Perisic is also a left winger isn't he? If anything we're lacking a quality right winger.

His main position is left wing, but he is very good with both feet, and can do really well on the right wing and as attacking midfielder, and he is not afraid to tackle, and has a great engine.. And in short period of time he became fan favorite for Croatian fans. Love that guy, he just does not stop, he is like Mandzukić, but with brain and technical skills. If there is one Croatian player I would love to see at United, it is him, acctually it would be Modrić...but that ship has sailed... Just not Rakitić, please Jose, not him.

I watched a coupld of youtube videos of Perisic and they were all rubbish, Memphis's all looked better. So, in reality, is he actually any good? What's his end product of goals scored and assists like?

Croatia have some great young talent coming through. How are Coric, Halilovic and Pjaca getting on these days?

I'm not sure either. Of course, if players don't mind, no court will ever have to rule if a contract is legal or not. My guess is though that it depends on how the contract is drafted, or more precisely who's the contract party from the RB side.
