Whats your problem? Its a lot of great guys here on the Caf. No need to call anyone nobodies.
I think I explained my problem quite succinctly, thank you. I said a 'few nobodies from redcafe' i.e. a few people, not redcafe as a whole.

His show, Beyond The Pitch, is sponsored by Nike. He has worked for ESPN, Sirius XFM. He's had some amazing guests on his show and has great contacts in the football world and sports journalism world.

But hey, a few nobodies on redcafe think he's a bullshitter, so just discount all that other stuff.

Is that you Pilib?

Well mate, I think its a quite few on here that dont listen to much on de Brun.
Daniel Taylor from the Guardian newspaper has vouched for his credibility so what anyone says on a football forum is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned.

That's their prerogative but the abuse he takes on here, from people who know nothing, is unwarranted. The guy will share his opinion, based on things he's been told. Don't see why that entitles people to give him abuse, considering he's bound to know much more than them.

I did not give the guy abuse. I only said he may be reading on the RedCafe. When you hand over information like that, you will get some abuse along the way.

Why? Seen much of Belotti? I'm no expert on Serie A-football, but Belotti must be one of the most exciting italian talents in quite some time. That might not say much, but he looks like an incredible talent and just what we should be looking for.

Not only that but the guy is a pure fighter on the pitch. He's aggressive and has that real goalscorers instinct. I think he'd suit this league. Icardi looks destined for bigger things too.

I thought the reason de Brun was considered unreliable on the Caf was because he's generally been very unreliable regarding us? I'd be happy to be wrong though as what he's saying sounds promising.

The reason there was resentment towards him was due to his anti-Glazers rants.

?...I never said you give him abuse. I know your story (from reading back through old posts from the summer) you'd be the last person I expect to give any ITK abuse, considering the abuse you got for sharing information. (although you are flavour of the month, now :D)

I'm talking about the people, who don't know the guy, or anything about him, calling him a bullshitter and other nasty stuff.

Rakitic is not playing at barca this season. Wont be surprised he leaves. He has not played well whenever he has played.
Who is playing instead of him? Gomes? Suarez?
That's a huge blow anyway, considering that their most important problem will be replacing Iniesta at some point soon, and not already having a world-class midfielder next to his successor is a downer.

Just watched it. The only thing he personally confirms is Griezmann. The Bakayoko he got from Dunc who he trusts as Mendes sourced. Niguez he says is very well sourced. They thought that Lindelof is back on due to amount of chatter and the cleared obstacle. And he wants Semedo and seemed to suggest that was also well sourced. But when he says well sourced it seems to mean he just trusts that reporter. I don't think anything he said came from his own ITK source, so in this case he's basically an aggregator.

Then he probably knows the opposite of truth, adidas would make sure of that, it's in the deal.

That totally makes, like, just so much sense. I mean every player we have is sponsored by adidas and every player we are ever going to buy, is sponsored by adidas. How did I not think of this myself?

There you go folks, adidas are the guys to get your transfer news from.

Your sense of humor is so bad.

Icardi just seems a far more experienced player who has consistently delivered for the third season running now.
2014/15: 33 games, 22 goals, 6 assists
2015/16: 32 games, 16 goals, 4 assists
2016/17: 19 games, 14 goals, 6 assists

Belotti is the exact same age and has only just come into showing this sort of form. This is also only his second season where he is consistently a first choice player (compared to Icardi who was a first choice striker at Sampdoria when he was 18/19). There's also the ongoing argument about Italians outside of Italy and whatnot... I just think Icardi makes far more sense, whilst Belotti looks like a bit more of a punt. I'm certainly no Serie A expert, I'm just going off of the stats and the limited football I've seen.

Fair enough. Just hope we have scouts who do a more detailed assesment. In 1999, who would you prefer RvN or Kluivert? Quite a few examples that players develop in different pace.

Griezmann is starting to look like one of those open secrets, by the way a lot of people seem to be talking about it. You won't see me complaining about that though, wanted him for years.

Hopefully you knew that I was joking?

Yes he does credit Duncan Castles but on Griezmann he's very clear and says we're most definitely trying to sign him.
