Huge potential for sure. But this price is hilarious. Especially when you look how "well" other diaspora Italians (with huge potential) fared. Barzagli, Immobile, Darmian..or pretty much any Italian in the last 10 years, apart from Verratti. Don't forget, Immobile won the Italian golden shoe before he went abroad.

Rakitic is not playing at barca this season. Wont be surprised he leaves. He has not played well whenever he has played.
I still find it weird that I've seen Schlupp play live for us in an U21 game against Liverpool.
And also that he was a striker.
He's definitely not a defender.
Unlikely he will leave in Jan though. Already Barca behind Madrid and their midfield options are iniesta Andre Gomes busquets and Denis Suarez if you take him out.

Oddly enough Rakitic is a player I rate but I also wouldn't mind if he ended up at City. However if they do get someone like Weigl or Modric, that would concern me.
