Feck Müller, I never got it with him, and his troubles don't surprise me in the slightest. He's overrated for my (very little :() money.

I'm with you. Such a limited player was bound to get found out eventually.

Aye, seems like Moysie's taking Johnstone to Villa. Johnstone's loan is long overdue, however I would've loved to see Pereira get some minutes somewhere after such a good spell at Belenenses. We might as well have O'Hara as 3rd keeper, he's there just to train basically. And if we get an injury for either of the first two gk's, we could just recall Johnstone/Pereira.

You mean Steve Bruce?

Doesn't really matter what Sunderland get for him. David Moyes will only flush the money down the toilet.

WH sure are desperate for a striker. Some team in a minor league will make a fortune from them for some absolute dross this transfer window.

Tbh, if they are this desperate for a striker, guaranteeing Rashford quality games time to the end of the season so not be such a bad idea.

Hogan has scored a whopping 14 goals for Brentford this season. Wait to see how much The Hammers bid for Dwight Gayle once they realise he's scored 19.

Nah, as proven in the M'boro match he is too important to us. One injury to Zlatan or Martial and he will be in the first team for most our matches.

Only if I believe that Rooney would not be ahead of him the moment he is fit

Going to be a remarkably quiet window in general. Bar the relegation candidates panicking

A guy who's been a key player for seven years at Bayern and scored more than 150 goals for them not playing as a striker has been found out because of a few bad months? Ok.

@Rozay Which Conference player got a £20k/week contract in China?

Wasn't £20k, found the article again, it said £10k a week.

I'm on the road now with just phone but I'll send article later.

I've been watching Brentford for 28 years having grown up locally and Scott Hogan is the most natural finisher I have seen in all that time and his movement is quality. He has amazing mental strength having come back from two ACL injuries in a row luckily Brentford have the backing of a very wealthy fan and the backroom facilities at the club are top notch so he got proper medical care and came back at the back end of last season where he had an insane scoring record at one point of a goal every 30 odd minutes. 14 goals for a mid tabe Championship side who have one of the lowest budgets in the division is not to be sniffed at, it's not like he gets a bucketfull of chances every game. He's also a local lad to United and had a trial earlier on in his career. He has the tools to be a success in the Premier League and word is Brentford will start talking at £15m+ which given the insane money even in the Championship nowadays is not really out of this world.

Interesting article on the lad here - http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...n-bid-to-live-up-to-jamie-vardy-a7024466.html

Yeah quite possibly. He was retired when he was interviewed.

Seems strange though to care when you're playing then not care afterwards.
It's true Batistuta hates football, especially competitive football. I've read that in an interview many years ago when he was at Roma. He said he never felt happy at football because there's so much pressure to win, but he kept on playing because it was where he could make the most money.

Good, we should sell him for at least 25m.

Then you would have to ask yourself, Muller or Griezmann
Müller any day. Griezmann is a choker, always fails in big matches.

Supposedly it was because he was a Hong Kong born Englishman so he qualified as a non foreigner with his HK passport. There is a 5 foreigner limit in China.
Yup, he didn't count against the foreigner limit, and was presumably better than Chinese fullbacks, you're not getting non-league players taking up a foreigner slot, that's for fecking sure!

That's still ongoing. He's meeting O'Neill shortly, I think.

From what I hear he wants to play for England - he is very ambitious and confident in his own ability and would take a lot of convincing to turn out for Ireland...

West Ham should sign that abusive twitter scrote. He could also help their fans throw bottles at buses.

sunderland are a joke of a team these days, but surely even their inept management/ownership wouldn't accept this?

accepting this bid is a guarantee to be relegated

Haha i was wondering this as well. Is there any indication that Sunderland are legitimately considering selling Defoe?
Truly mind boggling if they are, no matter the price.
Lol what a ridiculous bid from West Ham as well, just comical

Well it kind of said that they rejected it ;)

This nonsense was said about Messi also! A chocker my backside. If it was a straight choice then Griezman all day long for me although has to be said Muller is a fantastic player also.

I don't remember anybody calling Messi a choker and why would they? Messi never missed a penalty in UCL final and a sitter in Euro, Griezmann did. Griezmann is second to Higuain in terms of choking.

So that's your homework on him being a choker?

We already established that we do our best work playing 4-3-3 so it's baffling why some of the people here even consider signing Griezmann or Muller just for the sake of buying.

Yes they are quality players with great abilities but non of them works in 4-3-3 so what's the point of signing any of them if we won't be able to use them to the fullest or if it's gonna affect Pogba's game?

Because obviously Pogba doesn't work very well in a MF 2 with number 10. He can't have his freedom of movement and he has more defensive assignments.

Wonder if Bilic has considered how great it would be to utilise Fellaini as a striker.
