I have said it before in here, but City need their own transfer thread. This is getting out of hand.

Their season has been over a week. They won nothing. They need to spend BIG or face the prospect of the 10 year Pep plan to have been a massive white elephant.

From what i understand he is very good.
He is considered a good player, he also is great with his feet. Have no idea as i have not watched him.
City getting there business done early. Hopefully we do the same.
He is a great keeper. Next to Oblak and Donnarumma on my short list to replace DDG.

I know our season finished what, 3 days ago and it's by no means time to start panicicng but I would like for a change us to have concluded all our business at least before we go on tour so the squad can get a full pre season together and hit the ground running come August.
We needed to know whether we would be in the CL though.
Real life isn't a computer game.
I hope we were talking to our targets well before EL final. May also hope our entire summer wasnt depending on being in CL or not.
Either way, we know we are in it, so it is time to start making some moves.
I agree that we need all our signings done for pre-season. As you say we need those players integrated in the team. Jose has got us in the CL and won two/three trophies in the process, so the club need to keep their side of the bargain. The papers are coming out with names. They might all be wrong.
People say this every year and it almost always never happens. It's not a big deal either. Van Persie, Rooney, Tevez were all signed in August and went on to make an instant impact.
People are actually losing the plot because one club has bought one player already? It's not even June ffs.
Maybe the uncertainty of CL qualification was holding us back. Many players might have been waiting to see where we finish. Now that we have made it, I expect things to start moving quickly in the next 2-3 weeks.

Yeah. Had a very disappointing loan spell at Genk in Belgium when they first signed him, then he went on to do alright in Eredivisie this season. Looks a bit like wasted potential.
Think its understandable. We managed to save our season by skin of our teeth. I think people are bound to be nervous as they dont want competition getting ahead of us and signing players who have had terrific season.

Sure I'm pretty sure the club have control. We bought very well last summer but wether we'll buy players the muppets long for is a different matter, and I can see some not taking that very well
