I personally think we will go for 5 players.

Kind of agree, I wouldn't be surprised if (when) Rooney leaves we end up adding another one or two and have Mourinho come out and say that Rooney's decision to leave forced him back into the market as he wasn't preparing for a club legend to be moved on. Football politics mastery.

Atletico is interested in the current situation of Costa after the new legislation of the Chinese government in the matter of transfers

I can't decide if this is good or underwhelming for him. Definite step up but wouldn't have minded seeing him at a lower level champs league club

I agree to a certain extent, but, given that Celta is one of those teams that allows attacking players to shine, I'm more inclined to think this a positive move for him.

100% tax on top of the transfer fee for foreign players IIRC.
I'm sure there are plenty of creative accounting around that. What, sign Costa for 2m? Wait, Chelsea just got a new Chinese napkin sponsor for 50m? Who'd have thought...

Marca: Mourinho wants Morata if De Gea goes to Real. Only two options: Either Real pay €75m, or €25m + Morata. Contact through agents and intermediaries.
IMO, this would make complete sense with Griezmann coming in as well to play behind Morata in case De Gea really wants to go to Real and Mou doesn't want to stop him, which seems likely considering his approach to "players who do not want to be here".

Oh, and Real value Morata at €70-75m, haha!

Would have preferred Isco to Morata, but it's good to see we're not going to bend over for Madrid. 75m valuation is crazy money for a keeper, if they want him that bad they should pay though.

Keep reading. Article makes it pretty clear it won't happen

Yeah no way we accept 25m+Morata for De Gea, they had their chance to get him for cheap during that fax saga, now he's going to cost a ridiculous amount.

I seem to remember an interview or quote somewhere around the time Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger departed. Maybe it was just part of an article and paper talk, but IMHO everything points to this approach. If someone doesn't want to be here, bring a club who pays our valuation and you can leave. Why else would we let the best keeper in the world go?

75 million for a benchwarmer, that's when you know everything to do with transfers is fecked.

Don't post troll tweets here.

This should end all Conte speculation that's he returning to Italy.

Looks like he ahs convinced his family to move to London, would have been shame for him to have to return to Italy. We need to beat him to the league before he leaves.

True.

But the player will not be allowed to leave until that valuation is met. We seem to be charging higher fees since Jose got here.

Yeah because what City really need is another attacking midfielder

How many AMs does Pep need?
As many as it takes to win the PL and compete better in the CL I guess. Smart move as they finished 15 points behind Chelsea, they're not messing about getting rid of dead wood either. If they get Fabinho, some solid wings back ie Mendy & Walker and a decent keeper then they'll be up there again next season, providing it all falls into place.

It has to be city. Or maybe their info is wrong, No reports from France YET.

while relying on that nut Fernando and a geriatric Toure to hold down the deeper midfield positions?
