RB Leipzig interested in Galatasaray's Bruma as they strengthen ahead of Champions League fooball

As they look to bolster their squad ahead of next season’s Champions League, RB Leipzig have turned to Galatasaray forward Bruma, according to Kicker.

Don't like any of them. None of them will be able to break into our first 11. Van Dijk probably with Rojo injured, or if he doesn't reach his pre-injury form again, the other two would just be squad fillers..
Was more hoping for a Manolas-like calibre...if it's those 3 mentioned, i'd rather promote Fosu-Mensah and Tuanzebe. They won't make us a better club

I agree. We have one possible world class defender in Bailly, two very young potentially very good defenders in Mensah and Tuanzabe and four decent-average centre backs in Smalling, Jones, Rojo and Blind.
Keane for me isnt just a step backwards in time, Lindorf to be honest I have only seen for Sweden and Djik is another decent-average and seemingly stupidly over priced centre back who wouldnt be a bad signing, then again neither would Fonte have been, but they dont improve us. We have number, we actually need to lose one or two centre backs, what we need to add is a real top quality centre back be that a Marquinhos/Varane type signing or a left field Bailly type signing. Im sure there are plenty out there. For instance, last nights games we saw two centre backs, one 17 the other 20 I havent seen anybody naming, both of which looked liek very good players. Only one game, Im not saying sign them but I really think these links are rubbish, and I certainly hope we are signing a better centre back than the two I do know of those three, totally agree with you

Strange moves by City, surely some of those players would have made decent backups?

They've essentially put themselves in the situation now where they need to sign first and second choice full backs

I think they are doing the right thing, clear out the dead wood. I would be quite happy for us to lose 5-7 of the squad personally but unless DeGea/Ibrahimovic go I expect a four in four out similar type window to last summer, not that its a bad thing, Id just like to see a couple more either way personally

Mourinho and Patrick Kluivert were both at Barcelona when Justin was born. Can imagine it was an 'I remember you as a nipper' type convo.

So, City would be signing 2 GKs this summer? Interesting. Surely Bravo wouldn't be staying to be someone's backup, not in a season after which there is a WC.

Will be a fecking arms race between the PL clubs this summer.

Foreign clubs probably rubbing their hands at the huge sums they have incoming.

I really can't get excited about players like Dier and Keane.
We should not be paying top dollar for PL players, unless it's someone like Sanchez.

Dier and Keane do not get my muppet juices flowing up real nice.

Overpriced and under quality. Probably.

At a minimum we'll sign four players. CB CM Griezmann and a striker
In reality we need the above plus a left back but I reckon we won't be signing that many. Whoever we sign, I hope they are the right players for whatever system we have in mind rather than random 'superstars'.

Alternatively they're solid back up to our core players - Rojo, Bailly, Pogba, Herrera. Smalling and Jones can't be trusted and in central midfield we only have Fellaini and Carrick. I'm OK with those signings providing we drastically improve the attack which I'm sure Jose will do so.

We don't need solid back up players, we already have loads of players who are described as "decent squad players". We need top class first team additions.

That's not true in central defence and midfield though is it? Smalling and Jones are barely 'decent squad players' as they're always injured so likelihood is one would be sold if we bought another CB in.

Some of that 200mill better be going on a a winger of some sort
Seems like guesswork to me from those tweets. I really don't think Griezmann will be our only attacking signing. Especially when we're going to lose Zlatan, essentially.

3 or 4 isn't really enough, especially if we need to replace Dave.
Yeah, and I think Mourinho is going to tackle the lack of goals that almost ruined our season. So, I see him going — just in attack — for at least 3 players: a poacher (Belloti like, replacing Zlatan), a second-striker (Griezmann like, replacing Rooney), and an extra-winger/playmaker (Bale/James).

Maybe he should just go the whole hog and replace himself while he's at it. Do you see us ditching our entire attacking stable? Or attempting to keep Martial, Rashford, Mikhi, Mata, Lingard et al as well as your new battery of strikers all happy at the same time?

If we're only bringing in four players (maximum, MEN suggesting 3 to be the most likely number) then that would surely suggest that we've offloaded the majority of our outgoing players in January.

Would certainly suggest Ibra, Carrick and De Gea are staying.

Yes I expect Rooney to leave, maybe one of the CBs to leave and that's it. Zlatan may stay (though reports were that he rejected our contract offer due to pride).

So I would expect greizmann, a DM and Keane. Then depending on other possible exits (Shaw, Martial DDG maybe), we will sign replacements. Maybe add a backup striker too?

I'd be wary of us bringing in Griezmann as our only attacking option, particularly with Rooney almost certainly off and question marks rightfully hanging over Ibra. There is the potential for our only out and out strikers for the start of next season being Rashford and Martial which simply wouldn't be enough.
