Would have loved to see what Favre would have done next season, but I imagine several players are leaving, so I can understand his reasoning. R. Pereira is going back to Porto and their captain Baysse has said, he wants to leave. I think it's not going to stop there.

Well Di Marzio did report that talks between City and Aubameyang are at an advanced stage and the deal is close... of course that was in June 2016. Maybe it's just taking them a really long time to get it over the line.

I would be happy in principle with signing Griezmann and B.Silva for example

Griezmann could also play as the main striker and Martial can also play that role. I wouldn't signing a cheap back-up player as 3th-4th choice like Defoe on a free in this scenario.
Alternatively I'd prefer Morata if we do end up signing a second striker
Aubameyang would be a dream but not realistic imo.
I'd also prefer Lukaku or Kane over Belotti to be honest even if we do need to pay a bit more for them.
Not sure why people why people like Lukaku. He seems to fill his boots for a while then disappears at the business end of the season.
