The transfer of Bale seems quite complicated, mainly because it is not usual to negotiate a transfer in the middle of a plague of injuries.
He seems to be a bit angry about the club. Perhaps because he wanted a star role that has not yet reached, or perhaps because of how has been treated the issue of injuries.
If United could get Bale and Griezmann...

I'm getting a bit of a Bale tingle, hopefully there is something to this and we can get him. Bale and Griezmann would be super exciting indeed.

By the end of August Miguel Delaney's success rate on United transfers is going to look shocking, regardless of whether he has accurately predicted any, or not, as he has linked us with so many players.

I wouldn't

De Gea our best player for the past years and we haven't been close to a title. Attackers win leagues. You can win a league with a steady keeper, you can't win the league with a bad attack

Bale
Greizmaan
Belotti
Fabinho or keita
Replacement keeper
Defender

With DDG, Rooney, BFS and Ibra and one of smalling or jones off the wage list we could actually get those players and still be spending a bit less than we started off this season on wages. Mad.

How true are the rumors of us being interested in Dier? I think he's Carrick II... The guy sprays passes with such ease and is able to do the one twos with the forward players. I think he would complement Pogba and Herrera really well. For 40M, that could be a bargain. I've been one of the supporters of Fabinho but I have question marks about him gelling with Pogba and Herrera.

If we get Bale and Griezmann we basically solve our goals scoring issues and win the premier league next season.

------------Rashford---------
Bale------Griezmann----Micky

For 3 games before he's out for a few months.

Then Bernardo Silva comes in

Hahaha

I don't think we are signing Bale. The only reason this is being mentioned is it hasn't worked out for him at Madrid. That ship has sailed. My list above was totally hypothetical anyway. Ive always said I think we should be trying to sign youth players on the cusp of making it big. Bernardo Silva before he went to Monaco, Dembele before Dortmund etc and bedding them in with what we have. Unfortunately what we have is all over the place. This argument of waiting until they hit a certain age/standard/profile before we sign them for crazy money is stupid. Both the teams mentioned above are already better than us and pay much less in wages and transfer fees. our scattergun approach to transfers is one of the main reasons our team has very little cohesion on the pitch.

I can see Madrid looking to offload Bale this summer. He's become injury prone lately and he ain't getting any younger, plus there's the fact that Isco, Asensio and even Vasquez are playing great and they're all Spanish.

Also he failed to takeover the leader role from Ronaldo as it was projected.

Question is who would be dumb enough to pay 100 million to Madrid, because they will most definitely be looking to make around that amount.

This transfer merry-go-round would be perfect.

Bale to United.
Hazard to Real.
Barkley to Chelsea.
Rooney to Everton.

Idk, if that mofo Bale can't stay healthy playing in La Liga in his prime, kinda doubt he'd be making it work in EPL.

idk, the last Welsh winger we had also used to get regular injuries... it'd be nice for nostalgias sake. Mind you i remember his were typically all around international breaks and he'd often recover quickly too. :)

Last Welsh winger loved this club and loved being here, this Welsh winger refused us twice already. Also he'd cost a fortune.

All things said he's perfect type of player for Mourinho's "sit back, invite pressure and attack on counter" style of play.

I really hope we don't let Madrid dupe us into buying either Bale or James.

One is hugely pace dependant, has turned us down twice and is plagued with injuries.

The other one is rumoured to be a bit of a diva and someone that might not fancy the English weather and league, besides he is slow and another #10.

This ain't Football Manager lad.

Same here. Good players no doubt, but not what we need right now and both would cost far too much for the risks involved.

We risk becoming Madrid backup plan for players who's great and see that it doesn't matter for them if their move to Madrid isn't working out. We'll basically become the caste off place for players and Madrid.
I know that many players see Madrid as the dream but if we want to be the club that stay beside Madrid, Barca, and Bayern as one of the biggest blue then I want want Utd to be the backup place for the players and Madrid.

Yes. Hopefully (at least on this occasion) it's at worst just a case of agents leaking false rumours to the press so as to ensure they're respective clients get the best possible deals elsewhere. I realise that would mean us being 'used' once again to further the agendas of others but probably better that than us actually signing either one of those players.

Only realistic signing I'd take from Real Madrid is Kovacic. Think he would be great as b2b rotation and competition for us.

I don't think they will part with Isco, at least not cheap. Kroos is a pipedream and an idea not even worth entertaining.

Lets first try to put us back next to the likes of Chelsea before trying to do it with Real Madrid

There is no problem in setting your ambitions high.

When Bayern were losing league titles to Stuttgart and Wolfsburg, their ambition never shifted from being among the elite.

The kind of signings we make should be focused on that.

I always think of Bayern as an example of getting back on the scene very quickly. In 2008 they were getting battered in the Europa League by Zenit and in 2009 were finishing 3rd with Wolfsburg top. The following 4 years they were in 3 CL finals.

Exactly.

It can be done.

I think Jose is a manager that can help get us there, especially in terms of signings.

If we keep saying, give the manager time, he'll get it right in a season or 2-3, than you can't be serious about having such ambitions.

Brilliant player I would take in a minute. But if they want DDG and he's asking for a move then swap with Bale plus us giving them £30-40m is one I'd take.

Yes, let's not even attempt to go after Real Madrid players since clearly the likes of Lingard and Martial are on the levels of Bale and James.

You guys are insane sometimes.
