Feck me. He must be the dog's bollocks.
Hope his head can handle the pressure.

Yes..... Yes I do.
Hence AG will be 28 in 2-3 years time (and still shd have resale value) whereas GB (at 30), less so? We'd be taking the financial hit off Real.....
Unless Bale is £40m-£50m (dearish but in current market and given merchandise, acceptable), it's a no.
I think it says AC agreed terms of contract with Rodriguez.
Will be good signing for Milan.
Is anyone monitoring the Douglas Costa situation at Bayern? I had heard of reports stating how he was unhappy by the lack of game time. He was being linked with Juve. I think he would be a fabulous addition to our attack. He's as quick as Rashford and we could secure him for 30-40M
I don't think it will be about price. Probably Emanolo thinks Lukaku is a better fit for the Chelsea squadMorata would be cheaper than Lukaku. Bit of a weird tweet.
And even then he isn't better than either of those two. A club like Everton or Leicester seems like a far more logical next step for Keane.I can't see any point in buying Keane unless both Smalling and Jones are going, he's bang averge and the only reason he's being considered by any of the top clubs is because he's English.

Both Morata and Lukaku have such huge "boom or bust" potential that I can't really get too excited at the prospect of signing them. Neither look like nailed on, sure fire transfers for the sort of money they'd cost.
We don't need Bale. More than half the time he's been injured.
A bale that plays 20 matches is better then a Lingard that plays 60
That's the issue. There really isn't that sure thing out there. Like when we signed Costa we knew he would be a guarenteed success and fit us like a glove.Which striker would you prefer Chelsea bought? Aubameyang maybe?

Bale has been injury prone and I'm not a fan of Lingard but that doesn't mean we've got only two options? I would go for Douglas Costa instead. He's fast and he's younger and he wouldn't cost as much as Bale. If we plan on getting Griezmann and a striker, Bale would definitely not be in our budget.
Kind of agree
Highlight of the year as a United fan under Fergie was when the season was ongoing and we were winning stuff
Highlight of the year as a United fan at the moment is in the summer, muppetering over what we need and want to actually start winning stuff again
Point is that I would rather "gamble" on someone that has been world class and has that in their locker then stick with these average Joes that are good one game and average 10.
Mata, Lingard, Fellaini, young, Jones, smalling, Rooney are just so blatantly lacking in quality.
Bale, Martial, Shaw, Rashford, Pogba etc all have shown they have a higher level and may reach it and may become consistent.
The others are just so mediocre and it reflects in our league position.
I'll probably get hate for saying Mata is average because he is the darling of the club but seriously average.
This. He is just not as good as made out. Same with Ben GIbson being valued at 35mI can't see any point in buying Keane unless both Smalling and Jones are going, he's bang averge and the only reason he's being considered by any of the top clubs is because he's English.
What (who) is that?
The story seems made up regardless.

Not hate, I just find it amusing how someone can put Mata in the "blatantly lacking in quality" group and then put the likes of Martial, Shaw and Rashford in the group that's supposed to have already shown a higher level with a straight face.
Totally agree. £30m almost for a Burnley CB. If Keane wasn't home-grown nobody would be bothered, certainly at that price. He's no better than anyone we currently have - the only thing he holds over Jones is fitness and Smalling too.
Would be a waste of £30m as it'd just be an expensive sideways step that wouldn't improve our squad much, really. Would much rather we sold one of Jones/Smalling and fully promote Tuanzebe to one of the four main CB berths.
Agreed.Mata in the "blatantly lacking quality" group is madness imo.
