Nothing is certain yet. The worrying thing is that Ozil had been performing much better than Alexis for Arsenal this season. If we do sign Alexis hopefully he'll be motivated.

Its funny because Mourinho is actually a once in a generation manager; and has been considered one of the best managers in the world for over a decade. Unlike Klopp who is a run of the mill manager and has a fraction of the achievements.
Keita and Pogba are simply incomparable. You will not find many players like Pogba, the physicality of a box-to-box player, the passing vision and range of a deep lying playmaker, the dribbling and technical skills of an attacking midfielder. He can legitimately play all 3 roles at the top level.
There is no player like Pogba in our team, and there is a reason he was the most expensive player in the world at one point. Its very rare for a midfielder to be valued as high as Pogba.
All sarcasm and joking aside, that's a hefty fee indeed. I remember when I was a partial member and lurked more than I posted. There were talks about how LFC can't compete financially with the 'big' clubs. That may still be the case, but spending right now is showing intent and is a very welcome positive step for the club. Now that we are spending people are still making fun of the spending.
Rodgers was given the backing too but he spent money on quantity that turned out to be dross or at the most average. It's been a good couple last transfer windows when we have tried to ship those out and bring in quality that can strengthen us.
Barring Suarez, if you compare our squads it is definitely improved. Do we really need Keita right now? Personally I don't think we do. But in the end if him coming in means the difference between finishing top 4 vs 5 or 6 then I'd say in the end it will be worth it.

Really is about time. Negative is the departure of Coutinho. VvD and Keita were the planned signings before Coutinho was going. I think you need a couple more big signings (quality GK like Oblak if attainable would be the priority) to really show intent. VVD + Keita = Coutinho.
Need to spend big just this summer to show real intent in the region of 100 - 150m. Decent spending last summer but not too extravagant.
