"Did you see Fabinho against Red Star & Cardiff?"
How long does it actually take to make a bid?
Depends on the weather - curing the parchment takes time. How long does it actually take to make a bid?

It can take a while to agree the structure and timing of the payments. Clubs have to ensure they keep sensible cash flow available to cover contingencies so they rarely want to pay all upfront. How long does it actually take to make a bid?
As annoying as Rodgers is as a man, his signings weren't as bad as you made out, yes he had some duds, but half of them are integral to your current side.
Coutinho (left but has earned you serious coin)
Can
Lovren (shit but still playing regularly)
Joe Gomez
Lallana
Mignolet
Sturridge (part of the sas lauded so much)
Firmino (teeth)
Clyne
Milner
That core is a massive part of why Klopp has been able to build a better side, Klopp clearly had a better starting point than Rodgers who himself had to get rid of players like Downing, Kuyt, Charlie Adam, Jay Spearing, Andy Carroll etc, and let's face it, even with a better squad Klopp isn't even doing a better job than Rodgers?
Woody’s loins have to be girded and his shadow beardy thing needs to grow to the point where it’s uncomfortably bristly. How long does it actually take to make a bid?

It can also take a while to agree tax liabilities and how payments to agents will be structured.
Players also need to make living arrangements and good clubs take the time to help them sort this out too, offering a rented house for a period of time.
People forget we are not talking about signing an 18 year old with just a kit bag to his name.
I can see that there are many factors involved.Woody’s loins have to be girded and his shadow beardy thing needs to grow to the point where it’s uncomfortably bristly.

If this is true, then something is very wrong with our club. A solution to a need cannot be more obvious.
This is something you are only speculating about.
But didn’t Rodgers always moan about the transfer committee and how it stopped him buying the players he wanted? Seems like a win win for him, the good players he buys are down to him and the ones he didn’t get were the committees fault. Can’t work both ways
Incredibly petty.
I miss the good old transfers days, pre social media.
Didnt have to listen to shit journos giving their opinions on transfers. Constantly refreshing teletext instead.
I've been here long enough.Welcome to Redcafe, if you've just joined.
Bid is the last step anyway.
I'll admit it. I'm underwhelmed. Who's tweeting non-Sanchez related stuff at the moment? Ban them all.
I'll start using my free time to work as a football jurnalist. Think I'd do more then ok and earn some easy money.disclaimer: I still can't post media, quoted post is the tweet from S. Luckhurst
Glorious.
----------Kane

Some youth potential RW & CM and we're set
"prepared", "may", this guy is a farcical waste of space.
Never deals in definites.
Ozil and Sanchez departing for Mhikitaryan and Malcolm would be decent business for Arsenal considering they're both out of contract in the summer and clearly don't want to be at the club. Bringing in those players would probably give the rest of the team some confidence that they're not just a selling club.
Personally I'd only want one of Sanchez or Ozil here, front 3 of:
Martial/Rashford + Lukaku + Sanchez/Ozil.
If we brought both in, we'd have to either give up on Martial/Rashford or play a 2 man midfield which would limit Pogba dramatically.
Well I was thinking of Lingard/Mata rotating tbh. With rotation and changing formations for certain games they'd all fit fine.
This. Although I remember being super disappointed after reading about Robben joining Chelsea via teletext and BBC TV ticker.I miss the good old transfers days, pre social media.
