Will be a good decision from him. It was expected too. TFM will return after getting enough game time and Tuanzebe will go on a loan instead of him.

Says who? Palace have a million injuries, they'll do what they can to keep him until the summer.

Imagine signing Fred and Sanchez in January, feck me. That's the sort of business you do in summer, one world class player and one extremely good prospect. Then Dybala or Ozil in the summer, maybe a FB or two and we're set

Not sure about Ogden, but seems that it’s becoming the common opinion.

Thing is they can kind of afford to given the talent they already have in that area of the pitch.

I still think he will end up there, just can't force my self to believe it.
City don't actually need him, though. With Sterling, Sane, Aguero, Jesus, KDB, Bernardo they have got more than enough firepower as it is. I always thought Alexis would end up at Bayern.

I said from day one Sanchez wants to get paid. He´d play for Guangzhou Evergrande, if they offered him the most.

Alexis has always been a United player. Was gutted we didn't go all out for him when he was leaving Barcelona. Fergie would have been all over that transfer.

We are the biggest club in the world mate. City is not even close. They have bought a good team, thats it.

Serious footballers still want to play for the biggest clubs in the world. To say to your grandchildren that you player for United, Real or Barca is just something else.

Well this is odd. Sounds like we may be signing Alexis Sanchez.

IMO, this is still very premature. Remember the Ramsey-transfer? The stakes and risk relating to a transfer like this is much higher. And given how little journos usually know at this stage, and to what extent agents use other clubs in negotiations to get better deals, its probably 50/50. Bookies favour City still, right?

Bookies odds are solely decided by the number of people putting bets on and the amount they bet. Bookies don't set prices based on any insider info they might have so wouldn't put much stock in that.

So... City responding to Sanchez's agent via the media telling him they wont give him more? Or have accepted they wont be getting him..

The former would be my guess.

United favourites now

Well, that escalated really quick.

Still can't believe Arsene would sanction a move to Jose, let alone Utd. Of course, everyone is a bit on pins & needles to see if Arsenal can get either Lemar or Malcom, which seems to be the real sticking point, although it really doesn't make good business sense to let Sanchez go for nothing. I can see their concern last summer to get a replacement, but as things stand now, there really isn't much upside in keeping him to the end. Yeah, they might win the Europa League, but the way the team is reacting to Sanchez, it isn't that likely. It's almost addition by subtraction for them, as he seems to have created a schism within the team.

Are we still running with this Biggest in the World nonsense? I don't care about fans on twitter, I don't care about money made from tractors and noodles, if we're offering the very very best, the same money as Real or Barca, you won't be seeing too many in our famous red shirt.
