Benzema just renewed, but I have the feeling that it is a renewal forced by the time that remained and not a commitment of the club. He should go, I like him, he has scored many goals and has been a fundamental piece for the BBC, but his numbers are too bad. I think Zidane has not done him any favor.
The problem of Cristiano and Bale is that they earn a lot of money and there are not many teams willing to match it, especially if they come from such a bad season
Don't you know City lease their stadium from Manchester Council? Think about it you have all kind of luxury but don't have your own place to rest? Ironically the press questioned Mourinho, but as so called club with such great project, that's City situation.
Arsenal, Bayern, Juventus actually have stadium as club's property. They just need sponsor to finance it. Doesn't Arsenal have problem because they choose to financing for the stadium? I was talking about English teams specifically. When you talk about foreign clubs, then you have to be considered from case to case. Bayern used to shared stadium with Munich 1860, just like Juventus & Torino back then. These clubs want a separate stadium. Juventus has one of the three club owned stadium in entire Italy (according to Wiki). So it's different circumstances than English clubs.

City bought the stadium off the council years ago.
Nope, the council still own it, City lease it.
The stadium is owned by the council and leased by the club. The lease term is 250 years at a cost of £3m per year to the club.
Tweets please, I couldn't care less about who owns a ground.

Jackson is good at delivering negative news surrounding us and transfers.
I've got a feeling that Hazard has grown a bit stale and unmotivated at Chelsea. He's a better player than he has been showing this season, I think that much can be agreed upon. I don't know if supposed interest from R.Madrid has turned his head or what.
It'd be a massive loss for Chelsea and the Prem if he went to Madrid.
