He wants to fulfill the dream of three lustrums ago"

That's some Lord of the Rings shit right there!
 probably its only the translation, the word lustro(lustrum) sounds more common in Spanish. In any case you already know how the Spanish press is.They try to be very epic when writing about signings.
They are going to squeeze Kane's tweet with "Hala Madrid" from three years ago.

Lol, I'm guessing that lustrum is a variation on lust, in that Kane desperately wants to play for Real Madrid? It's not a Real Madrid transfer saga if the player isn't willing to sign over their first born a decloration of their dreams to play in the Bernabeu!

Can't see it. La Liga doesn't hold that sort of appeal for British players where they're obsessed with Madrid or Barca imo.
I mean what age would he have been to admire that team? 6?
In an era when CL football was on ITV and Madrid weren't shown that much compared to today

If I were kane I would rather stay in the epl and try and beat shearer's record and cement myself in epl history than go out and try to win a couple later Ligas

Haha,no,lustrum simply means "5years".Yes,the "Madrid is my Dream club"is something basic. A photo of Bale in a Madrid shirt,Cristiano's mom in Marca, etc

Telefoot saying that Bordeaux, Nantes, OGC Nice, Real Betis and Manchester United are interested in signing PSG winger Lucas Moura, but all these clubs only want Lucas on loan, while PSG want to sell. Also, of these sides, Lucas only wants United.

How reliable are Telefoot?

i see all the big clubs in Europe are after him

Ah right, cheers mate, didn't expect to be learning a bit of Spanish today. :D So are you expecting the Kane/Hazard double mission will be Madrid's summer focus?

It is a well known fact that every great player feels an unquenchable, burning desire to play for real madrid since he was a wee 1 month old

That was my point. When Ozil is considered to have a bad game he just seems to get few little ball. Never said in those moments he had poor passing and touches.

Then I compared that to Mkh bad game where it's like playing with 10 men he looses the ball so much.

I was agreeing with you mate.

Maybe, but there will be many names on the table+ the world cup surprises.
Right now the tweets about signings(for Next season) don't look too serious.Simply news built from visible needs.

Malcom replacement?

Just read on sky sports app that Man city are preparing a £50m bid for Harry Maguire, whats the world coming to:wenger:

We (Utd) should be in for in Maguire if there's any chance of him leaving Foxes.

He's got big player written all over him, barely ever misses games, PL experienced.

He's a very good midtable CB. Don't think he'll ever be elite though. Then again, we do have Smalling and Jones who he is probably as good as.

I think you're underrating Maguire a bit.

I like Smalling but I think Maguire's better than him, possibly better than Jones as well - certainly as good as Jones.

I couldn’t believe we never made a move for him before he went to Leicester. Big, tough quality player. So much better than anything we have right now.

I know. It's these type of decisions that just baffle me in recent years.

Maguire moves to Foxes for 12m in the same week that we're signing Lindelof for 25m...

Don't get me wrong I do like him but does he have the bottle to step up? I'd rate him higher than Stones anyway. Mind you, he's excellent on the ball too.

I rate Maquire quite highly, good in the air, strong in the tackle, seems to anticipate quite well, and excellent bringing the ball forward out of defence. I would have him in my England World Cup team, but not Smalling. Jones has injury concerns, Maquire does not (although as a CB he will get knocks during the season). I would try an £80 bid for Maquire and Mahrez, we should recoup some of that from Fellaini and Blind moving on in this window.

He's only 2 years younger than me and I was in awe of that team as a kid so it's not impossible that a football obsessed kid would have admired that team.

To me, everything about him screams 'has the bottle'. You might remember him scoring the last minute equalizer against us a few weeks back...?

He's a leader and you can see he's gonna be a PL winner somewhere, I would just prefer it to be us!

As I said above, I was stunned when he moved to Foxes for 12m and a few days later we signed Lindelof for 25m.

Under LvG I'd have expected no less, but he's such a Mourinho player it really surprised (and disappointed) me.

Jesus Maguire better than Jones? He's good but give your head a wobble.

Think you're referring to me saying that I think he's as good as Jones, maybe better...

I stand by it actually, though I'd add that I love Jones and I'd view it more as a compliment to Maguire than any kind of slight upon Jones.

He is not shite. Just that when you look at PSG, they're aiming for the very top and their model means the current coach may not be there next season. It doesn't sound convincing for DoF of PSG to go with Fellaini the way PSG build their style (technical, flair).

For example when PSG was mentioned being in for SMS, you tend to consider there is some smoke.
Who is SMS ?

Not seen Stones in the last 18 months then?

Not sure we'll be in for another CB. Our options there are by no means perfect, but we have so much work to do elsewhere that central defenders are going to be quite someway down the list of priorities.

Leipzig should demand 30 million extra for an early transfer. He'd be cup tied in the CL as well.

Do it Leipzig, you know it makes sense.
