Lemar has had a poor season. 2 goals and 3 assists i think in the French league.

Please let's not waste our money.

Apparently Lemar has rejected Man Utd for Liverpool according to Duncan Castles who hates Liverpool/Loves Mourinho so there might be truth to it

In his article? He said Lemar rejected Arsenal last summer and that United are interested in him as well, not that he rejected United. He did say that sources close to the player have said that Lemar has decided to join Liverpool, if a transfer fee can be agreed. The thing is, United won't be involved in this deal, as the fee escalated dramatically once Arsenal got desperate last summer and bid £90m. It'd take a similar transfer fee now to get him.

Some of you don't half overrate these young players after a good season or two.

You'd think Lemar is the next Zidane going from some comments in here.

Surely people are in a position now to have a cooler look at Monaco's squad from last season? A talented bunch, no doubt but does Lemar still look like a possible 100 million player? Remember when we wanted Bilbao's entire team after they made tits of us in the Europa? He's been pretty shit in an admittedly transitional Monaco team this year.

Hate to say it, but you have to admit Klopp knows an attacking player when he sees one. If he wants Lemar, he must be good.

Yeah, for Pogba money, it is best we miss out. Talented player, price wil be ridiculous. We should focus on other positions anyway

A little disappointing seeing Chelsea linked with vidal/Sandro, city with Sanchez, Liverpool with Lemar, goretzka (way more then us), and then United linked with fecking Andre Gomes and Joao Mario. Both purely average players who wouldn't help at all. Either target top quality players or younger players who can become world class. We have enough of the average squad player quality types here.

They are mostly lazy links to past players

That is an insult to United, we are linked with a world-class player - Neymar, Messi, Ronaldo, Bale, Dybala, SMS, Griezmann, Kross, Kane and Hazard. The media loved linking us with world-class players. Let's not downgrade ourselves to Chelsea, City and Liverpool's level :lol:

I wonder if Palace or Newcastle are in for Romero. Both could arguably improve their keeper.

Classic. Fabricate United interest to get the actual buying club's arse into gear.

"Everything ready for Madrid to pay the clause. His injury can delay some days the final agreement .20m€"

Let´s see if it´s truth. We have been with the tic tac for a month

Erection problems?

I don't believe they'd pay £75M for van Dijk.

Do you believe it, now?
That's about right in today's market.
Fans don't seem to want to accept that football players are now horrendously expensive and will continue to get more pricey, as TV revenues increase.
Fans in general, need to realise that we are in 2017/8, not 2010.

Lemar hasn't looked the same without Mendy flying passed him, nowhere near worth 90m.

Serious links though. Griezmann ship has sailed, there's basically nothing for anyone else. Hopefully we're doing it behind the scenes and there just aren't many rumours to said player, but spending so much on lukaku and going so hard on perisic doesn't make me tooooo optimistic that we have the right types of players or caliber of player in mind.

Even it today’s messed up market £75m for Virgil V.Diyk is ridiculous I don’t know how you can argue otherwise.

Imagine Robertson flying past him.

I don't want to hear this. :(

Devastated if he leaves, even more so for a club in England. Just go far away Sergio if you don't want to be here.
He obviously wants game time, as this is a world cup year. But, I'd be very surprised if Mourinho allows him to leave mid season, even on a loan. If de Gea gets injured, Pereira isn't quite ready to step up and be first choice imo.

IDK the rules about posting links to other articles, but this is from a Guardian article "Arsenal, who reached the same round where they lost 5-1 on aggregate to Barcelona, made €53m", where they reached the R16. IDK what figures you're looking at, but being an English club in the CL gets the clubs paid.
This . Plus better sponsor deals if you are in CL. Plus you can buy better playera( yes i know that we bought pogba without CL but it was us not arsenal).
So for club like arsenal it is better to risk that 25 mil for alexis and try to reach CL this year

The only difference is we have no chance with literally every one of those aforementioned players bar one - incidentally the only player you mentioned who is not world class.

Would certainly miss him, but why would you grudge him going to a midtable team in the league? He's definitely not going to any of the other Top 6 teams.

Hope not, don't think he's good enough.

IF PSG want to generate income, Verratti?

Think a loan with an option to buy would be a very shrewd piece of business. See if he can cut it in England and for Mourinho, before committing. PSG lower their wage bill and free some squad space up and we get a potentially good signing.
