Looks like everyone is looking forward to abandoning that sinking ship. Common sense really.

Says a lot about some other sides if you think the most in-form PL side outside of City is a sinking ship.

Well you don't see Crystal Palace players looking to get out at such rate, do you? Players know what we don't.

What does this even mean? What an utterly bizarre and redundant comment to make...

These 'players abandoning a sinking ship' you talk about consist of a total of 2, presumably Coutinho and Can, one of whom wants to leave purely because he's heavily on the radar of probably still the biggest and/or most desirable club in the world to play for.

Hardly a mass exodus, is it? Especially when you have highly-rated players like Keita and Van Dijk joining.

 Ffs it was a pisstake I thought you gonna get it with my second comment.

Haven't watched Diarra since the 15/16 season but if he's the same player as then it wouldn't be a bad signing. Let's be honest, it would be purely for the odd game (probably not even the PL, more likely just for cups) where you guys want to give Matic a rest and he won't cost you anything.

Don't see it happening though.

that's obviously not Lassana Diarra of Pompey/Madrid fame? is it 2010 again?

He was pretty good just before the EURO but then he injured himself and got suspended by the FIFA.

32 years. Solid short term fix. And perfect to give rest to matic. Can play right full back. Free. I would take him. On 1.5 year contract

He can't play right back anymore, he doesn't have his youthful legs.

I’d take him until the end of the season due to the issue with Carrick and Fellaini. But I doubt he’d want a short term contract.

John Cross says that Arsenal will sell Alexis at 25m pound

£25m?  Any club that isn't all over that is incompetent.
it doesn't matter though does it? Sanchez knows where he is going next, so it doesn't matter what clubs bid.

He’s going to Manchester City. If there was any chance of us signing him, we clearly would have sounded it out back in the summer, it’s not happening.

I get what you mean but I reckon any player could be persuaded with a signing-on bonus that's big enough.

Why turn down 50m in August only to sell for half that 5 months later?

Rumours Oxford headed back to Germany tomorrow, not sure whether loan or permanent deal.

Possibly causing unrest in the changing room? I know he's scored a few this season but he's generally stunk the place out all season. Doesn't make financial sense I agree

"Chief executive Ed Woodward is preparing to bankroll Mourinho further in the transfer window if required and plans are in place for two marquee signings in the summer".
