Atlético and Valencia negotiate the loan of Vietto, with option to buy (non mandatory)

This fella and Kranevitter were supposed to be the next big things when Atleti bought them. Both have failed to live up to the hype. Vietto more so than his compatriot.

Ballague changing his tune, as usual. What a fraud.

Too much!
Not when an unproven Southampton defender, who could just as likely be a midfield equivalent of Schneiderlin, costs £75m!

Transfer fees have always been relative to how much money there is in the game at that time, and it's never been better for PL clubs.

Changing his tune as soon as he realises it’s happening, classic Ballbag.

Kicker reports Oxford wants to leave WHU now. Gladbach have made an official offer. Will make a final push in negotiations with WHU today.

htafcdotcom has to be the worst twitter username of any top flight side in england.

I remember the amount of posters on here that used to be obsessed with Vietto.

Half a season at Monaco and he gets sold? He must be shite then. I also remember him as a talented player a few years ago, havent heard news of him for a long time

I believe that it's a loan and he hasn't played enough to actually be shite.

60m for a LB with an ACL injury?
Yeah that'd be fantastic business, wouldn't it. I know he was highly thought of prior to his injury but let's not be fecking idiots here please, United.

Wait what !?
So Napoli get the better, younger LB with more potential while we get Ghoulam for double the money? Are they insane?
Generally yeah, believing any of these transfer tweets makes you insane.

I would have been over the moon for this because he is one hell of a player who will immediately upgrade our left side of the pitch but I'm concerned about his injury. It's ACL and he is scheduled to return sometime in April if I'm right.

Napoli changed their minds already.

Anyway, my take on our LB situation is that we won't sign one in January. I'd rather we waited for that until the summer. We might sell one though.

Need some tweets soon, the inner muppet needs feeding. In all seriousness, we need players so I’d be amazed not see movement.

Wouldn't bet on us signing anyone in January tbh. Mourinho tries to improve the starting eleven with each signing generally, not sure if anyone of that standard is available this month. If we do sign someone, we will sell as well. We are overstocked with bit part players.

I wonder if I can help Napoli in any way in this endeavour

Maybe involved with this Ghoulam move if its for real
Would be some nice forward planning. Ghoulam gets time to get fit and adjusted with no pressure as we have an abundance of backups.

Would be unfair to shaw if we bought a LB right now. He has just started to show his true form.

There needs to be competition, if we sell Darmian and Blind we'd have Ghoulam/Shaw for LB and Valencia/Young for RB, however buying a player with an ACL injury who wont be back until April for that price sounds crazy.

For the summer Id say, again if theres anything to it.
Ghoulam may well be a summer target, but I doubt this Darmian news is related to that, as we'd be leaving us slightly short in options if we were to sell, but not replace. Now if someone like Sandro or Rose were coming in January, then I could see Darmian leaving.
