I have a mate that is a season ticket holder at Palace. He’s said that TFM isn’t even good enough for them, let alone Manchester United.

Tbf, I have seen people say both Rashford and Lingard are poor talents and will end up in the championship.
I agree that he generally seems a bit overrated on here due to his impressive pace and strength, but it is far too soon to write him off.

Well then your mate is talking nonsense. His opinion is no more valid than those who have watched him all season, and TFM has had many good games, including MOTM awards.

He's also had load of shockers and is currently out of the team.

But don't let facts get in the way.

Whether he’s been any good or not it will have been a good experience for him coming up against PL players. That’s something he wouldn’t get in reserve football. We will get a more rounded experienced player back

Btw I’d love to see how he’d do in a midfield 3 not as a defender. Potential to be a tank

To the people who think TFM can be a good option at RB for us next year, what exactly are the qualities TFM has to play for a club which aims to win the PL?
He is fast and physical good but his crossing and cutbacks are poor;defensively his positioning is poor and often has to rely on his pace to recover.
So right now he is a defensively poor Valencia.
Now I like the kid and I can see the potential, but by no means is he ready to be back up RB to a 33 year old with injury problems.

IMO he needs another loan where he gets to play more than he has done at Palace.
He has played well in few matches for Palace but he has had some poor performances too.
I hope, for his sake and our sake that he is sent in a loan next year

He needs a loan in a more technical league, like Spain or Holland.

The fact that he’s had very good games and won MOTM awards are also facts. Seems you’re not very good at this.

More tenuous links with Justin Kluivert
Darren Lewis of the Mirror says Mourinho is interested in Ajax winger Justin Kluivert. Kluivert is ready to turn down a new deal which would make him the highest paid player at his club following interest from the Reds.
The player’s agent, Mino Raiola, however, is ready to entertain offers this summer.

look his mate and @Alabaster Codify7 have decided TFM isn't good enough. he should just go play for forest green at this stage

He watches the team every week and has said to me that at the moment TFM is not good enough. Forgive me for choosing to believe the word of a guy that has gone to every palace home for 30 years over the “experts” on here that watch the highlights.

There is zero chance that TFM will be Mourinho’s first choice right back next season.

Yep. We massively over-rate our youngsters. Every time I've watched TFM, he's reminded me of a superb athlete with no footballing brain.

And before the posters quoting Leroy Sane, every dog has his day. Ashley Young pocketed Mo Salah at OT, if he was playing for Watford this season, would you want us to sign him as our new LB? Or would you also consider the rest of his performances for Watford and the fact he was displaced from their 11 by an even younger player?

TFM is not ready yet. Not at all.

I love the way that the palace season ticket holder I know has been bashed on here and even called an idiot by the armchair brigade because he’s correctly stated that TFM is not good enough at the moment to play for Manchester United.

and if you talk to a different Palace season ticket holder, they might have a different opinion. We have season ticket holders with dubious opinions, they aren't gospel.

Exactly.

TFM is a known quantity having spent his entire pro career in England. There will naturally be different opinions on him.

The fact that he’s had poor games is irrelevant, as long as he’s also had brilliant ones, which he certainly has, I’ve seen them. He’s recently turned 20, and is learning his trade. If inconsistency is the most people can throw at him, it’s hardly a problem.

Juventus pricing players according to ten years ago. Maybe we can submit a 15m bid for Sandro and a 20m bid for Costa.

Turin-based Tuttosport (mouthpiece of Juve) also think/hope they can get Martial for €50m. Don't expect them to bid more than £50-55m.

Maybe the old United, but the way we do business since Jose arrived - no chance.

Anyway, we’re football fans, I have no desire to score any moral victory of getting loads of money for Anthony Martial. He needs to stay and he needs to play.

Nobody is saying that he should be sold or released or any shit like that. Just that he isn’t ready yet.

Personally I hope we bring in an experienced right back and have TFM as a squad option that can be used in low pressure games like the league cup.

We have an experienced RB. We don’t have a younger understudy.

Valencia should be nowhere near the team next season mate. Nowhere near. Father Time has caught up with him.
