Recently? The guys been annoying me since he interviewed himself for the champions league final.

feck Ronaldo. He did a ton for us, but he’s that broad we thought we’d never pull who then left for a guy with a bigger cock. feck him both sides have moved on

Glad that he is enjoying his stay and football there in Valencia. Last time I check Valencia is (still?) in 2nd place so far in the La Liga, playing the closer version to United's football of old. Fast, quick movement and pass and pretty exciting brand of football.

He doesn't have a permanent position yet, he mostly plays on the wings on either side (latest I watched was on the right) and generally doing well for a team that functions very well together.

He is a player contracted at this club. He should be ready to fight for a position here. He would have had ample opportunities here with our issues at CM and on the right wing if we stayed here as per Jose's wishes.

Or that can be interpreted as a player that is willing to be pro wherever he is playing. Adnan was criticised while at Dortmund as he wasn't 100% committed.

I am not sure if there are reliable sources that mentioned about his situation with Jose, but as far as I can, he is playing well and if he continues to develop, United might have another technical player to be added to the roster instead of another one of the deadwoods to be chopped.

Darmian looked like a really exciting player when he signed but I don't understand what went wrong for him.
I feel the change in system hasn't helped him much but he can probably be a good player in italian league and have a good career there.

What's the point of Mourinho making purchases in January?! We're not going to win the league. City aren't going to drop 15 points as well as us winning 15 points simultaneously to close the gap and all the top players are cup-tied for January anyway. Might as well focus on summer window, identify targets and get them for next season.

Can't see Pereira playing for us again. Think he loves Spain too much. May as well see him for as much as possible in the Summer and reinvest that on someone who soea want to play for us.

People better remember that it is a world cup year and all the pitfalls that can bring. People fooling you into thinking they are actually any good, even more inflated prices and a smaller time to get players. So I hope they know exactly who they want, also have backup for all of them this time.

Well there are many reasons to buy in January really.

For example, if the right player is available, signing them in January would ensure we beat other clubs to the race, especially if the players contract is expiring - example Ozil, who would be free in the summer and would have plenty of clubs after his signature. Going for him in January may mean we'd have to pay £20 million or so, but it would ensure we get him.

Not to mention, players bought in January would have half a season to properly settle in and should ideally be raring to go for the following season.

cement your second place instead of your fight for the 4th.

I get where you're coming from, but he's invested the last 4 months helping Valencia in La Liga. I'd want to see that through. Its not necessarily like you'd be disregarding your contracted club, but just that you want to finish what you've started at the loanee club. Its also hard to blame him for thinking he'd get more opportunities at Valencia than he would with us.

If we were still pushing for the title, no doubt we may have seen a signing or two. We might have pushed for the likes of Ozil or maybe others. But let’s just save the money and get someone we will really want and have the money to spend on.

As it currently stands, I think it's going to be a fight, but really, a more attack minded approach would see results improve.
We hinder ourselves.

In big games Mourinho’s ultra defensive approach kills us. But against alsorans I think the attacking approach is fine - we are mostly hindered chronic wastefulness. Our attackers aren’t ruthless enough.

I agree, I can't ever see him playing for us now.

 problem was that we had the metaphorically bigger cock back then, it more like the broad got with the guy that was a recovering addict finally getting his shit together.

Nice guys always finish last...

Spot on

We won’t stay in the top four with the current squad.

I think that's a very real concern, the team has looked so flat and disillusioned since the derby defeat and Chelsea are only a point behind us with Liverpool and Spurs both gaining momentum with their performances.

Yep and on top of that there's the fact it's a World Cup summer, the less business you have to do the better.

Spurs and Liverpool are both in the groove while Chelsea have a better team than us. City are obviously nailed on to finish top four. That leaves us in rather a precarious situation.

We’re snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Again.

The net 2 games are crucial, Spurs and Liverpool are flying so we need to maintain as much of a lead on them as we can, I think a draw at Goodison is nailed on so we must beat Southampton tonight. It's hard to see the team improving though as we are running Matic into the ground with no cover and the fullback situation is on a thread with Valencia now injured, and that's before you even get to the unbalanced mix and match show we have up front.

Certainly looking that way, yes. No Europa League to save us from the ignominy of missing Champions League qualification this time, either.

I think if I was the club, I'd be looking to buy in January just to give the side a bit of a lift, even if said transfer was of relatively poor value (whatever that means at the moment).

Things usually balance themselves out over the course of a season, so I'd e very surprised if it wasn't close at the end between the top 6. We've had a good start and we're doing well to be second, but I'm of the opinion our team is no better than Spurs or Liverpool. The superiority of both teams attacking options compared to ours balances itself out with our better defence & keeper.

I’d rather have attacking options like Spurs and Liverpool because that gives you a chance of winning games even when not at your best.

I think it's not just the options they have but the way they are gelled as a unit, they are greater than the sum of their parts at times, where as we have 4 individuals up top a lot of the time.

Yeah. It’s been said by many on this forum. Those sides looked far better coached than we do. Mourinho sends a bunch of random attackers on to the pitch each game and hopes for the best.
