Tbh there is no better player than crouch or Carroll for route 1 football. They should just bid 20m for Fellaini while they are at it.
Dzeko is more than decent, he'd be an excellent short term signing and a great squad option. I'll hang myself if we sign Peter fecking Crouch.

Hard to see AS Roma selling one of their key players mid season. They're still in CL and within a chance to qualify for next year. Chelsea may have to settle for Crouch or Carroll

If Chelsea were looking for a target man, Dzeko or even Slimani would be a good January signing for them. Definitely better than Carroll or Crouch.

I don't think we'll get another signing in this window if I am honest. Just too much to do in such a short space of time. But starting negotiations now to be wrapped a couple of months down the line is definitely possible, especially considering it's a World Cup year and the fact that the Transfer window closes earlier for us.
This January is actually looking line an interesting window for the first time in years. Can't remember this much activity for a long time.
