Such an unfair advantage that Bayern can just pick the top talents from their league without any competition. All on reduced fee or free due to them running down their contracts.
It will come back to bite them soon enough when interest in the German league starts to decline.

He can come..... on a free, on a small basic wage. Huge goal and win bonus and trophy bonus. That would be the only way for him to come.

Has totally fell off the cliff, only(for him) 25 goals last season and only 4 this season. I don’t see any point in him coming here. But if he had to, that’s how! Not even sure he offers anything to us.

A step backwards

It comes with a major downside that the league is extremely predictable and boring with a much reduced global appeal (and, by association, TV income) as a result. Bayern can pick the best players for free but still can't afford salaries and transfer fees on anywhere near the scale that EPL or La Liga giants can.

Sad to see another footballer decide to choose money. That's what it is when you don't sign for Pep now right?

Vardy would be an unbelievable signing for Everton. Not sure they'll bid enough, Leicester would sell to them or he would even agree to go though.

500m buyout?
I can see a day when transfers simply don't happen anymore. Players sign a contract knowing full well they are locked into that club until the contract expires. If they want to leave, they have to run down the duration of the contract and leave on a free transfer.

Surely you cannot expect Bayern to refuse to improve their team in order to make the league more competitive though? Goretzka would have left anyways and a lot of Bayern’s players came from outside the league or through their system.

How would they justify the Tosun outlay? They'd have to go 442. Would Sam bench Rooney?

Surely a 433 with Walcott right and Vardy left of Tosun.

Sigurdsson at the front of the midfield 3 with two from McCarthy, Gueye and Schneiderlin behind.

He's pretty much dropped Rooney already so he'd be scrapping for a bench spot with Bolasie, Lennon, Niasse and Calvert-Lewin.

Could work. Would surprise me if he dropped Rooney. He's not really done that, he's playing Sigurdsson on the left, leaving him pretty much isolated in the game, to accommodate Rooney in the hole.

Are they better than Leicester?
