There has been murmurings for a while. I wouldn’t be shocked if Arsenal break their wage structure for him. With Sanchez off the books he’s by far and away their best player – As much as I like Ozil he’s never struck me as the most competitive players. I imagine life is pretty easy for him at Arsenal and he will especially enjoy playing with Aubameyang if/when they sign him.

Arsenal never go that extra mile though so it wouldn’t shock me if one of these three deals – Mkhi, Auba, Ozil – Falls through. They’ve already given up on Malcolm and it was a similar story in the summer with Lemar. Always seems to be a case of one or the other with them. They should just sign all 4 and put the Sanchez saga well and truly behind them.

Shut up Zorc! Arsene is our friend now, he can say whatever he likes :D

Wenger said nothing wrong to be fair. He was asked about Aubameyang and he compliments his character. About joining Arsenal, Wenger said that "it's better, when things are secret."

So i don't understand Dortmund problems. Mourinho said, that Sanchez is a fantastic player too. So whats their problem? :boring:

Dortmund are whiny little cnuts.

If he stays at Arsenal then MehShit Ozil.

Would still have him here, though, even in this window.

No way would they sanction their best 2 players to United in the same window. There would be a riot.

I'd go as far as to say they'd rather lose him for free. At least then it wasn't the club's decision!

that would be surprising.

Aye. Still it's a Twitter rumour for now. Perhaps he'd fancy a stay if Arsenal showed intent in signing the right sort of players. Maybe they have offered a pay rise as the other player who'd want one at parity is leaving.

Be interesting to see how this plays out

That being said isn't he free to negotiate with other clubs as of now? Surely if we are interested we would have our claws in.

Not that any announcement of that would be a good thing for the Arsenal or Ozil camp. If we are interested you can bet your life we have been in touch since the summer.

We are already 6th favourite to win it at a 14/1, here's the other teams.

Manchester City 3/1
PSG 5/1
Bayern Munich 11/2
Barcelona 13/2
Real Madrid 13/2

I think that Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern, if we played them in their current form, we have a 50/50 chance against them.

So that leaves City and PSG, who would be clear favourite against us but hey, it's a cup competition, so anything is possible. Adding Sanchez would certainly shorten the odds.

You say that is if Barca aren't already in great form with Dembele to come back in to the fold and a fully-rested Iniesta. I can't see United doing them over two legs, you have to figure Messi is going to turn-up in 1 of 2 games at least.

Bayern are back in form too. Real on the other hand...

Good I don't want him here anyway, even on a free transfer. He has been awful for a couple of years now. There seems to be this notion that around better players he will play better, it didn't stop Sanchez looking completely above every other Arsenal player did it?

Dortmund just like to run their mouths off.

I don't want him here just because putting out our 11 best players would force Pogba to play in a deep midfield 2

Yeah, they only bend over when it's Bayern taking their players!
There is only Hummels going back to his boyhood club that „they bent over“ for regarding Bayern though. And then thereˋs also Mkhi, Dembele and Gündogan, so I donˋt see a pattern regarding just Bayern.

Has anything that Mirror quoted ever came true ?

Yes, often. It doesn't matter what the paper is, it's all about this journalist. People have this notion papers are never accurate but it's wrong. This is a relatively solid journalist (David McDonnell). I wouldn't discount it as nonsense but also doesn't have to come true to make it right.
