WTH.... We couldn't get saul and now Athletico are letting go of Torres?

Not sure, but according to the ever-reliable google translate, he's signed a 4 and a half year contract with Dortmund.
Nothing is confirmed yet, neither by Dortmund nor the journalists close to the club. His contract expires in summer 2017 so I'm inclined to believe a permanent move will happen - if di Marzio is correct.

Preparing for eventual Gundogan departure?
Yes and no. Castro has been considered as a possible replacement but can play in attacking midfield too. Oliver Torres has played in attacking midfield for Atletico as well and would meet Tuchel's preference for flexible players.

Wow, hell of a get for Dortmund if it pans out.

I see, well good luck mate, other than United, Dortmund and Juve are the two other teams I watch the most, so him moving to you is the next best thing to United getting him. :D

According to M.E.N. we are monitoring Ruben Nevas and guess who Bruno Martins Indi at Porto. We were supposedly at their game this weekend. Wondered how long it would be before Martins Indi got linked.

I won't celebrate the deal until it's signed, sealed, delivered. :D Di Marzio is a bit hit and miss similar to BILD or its English equivalents (Sun, Daily Fail etc).

I have to admit that I haven't watched him much but have trust in our DoF and our head coach to pick the right players to improve our squad.

Weren't you linked with him just days after the World Cup 2014 had kicked off?

We are always getting linked with him. Just it has taken a while this time. After their Euro campaign I am not sure I want any more Dutch players. Wish we had your DOF.

Well, said DoF recruited Immobile and Ramos. Still want him? ;)

They said a few weeks ago that Oliver was for sale. I'm guessing he's not as good as made out or he'd definitely be heading somewhere else.
I don't follow Atleti closely enough to know if it's true but what I've heard is that Simeone thinks he's not suited to his system. He was loaned out twice IIRC and with his contract running out in summer 2017, it might be the best time for Atleti to sell (and buy somebody better suited?).

Surely he can have a couple of mistakes?:)
Of course; it was a cheek-in-tongue comment, I've never criticized him for this and other deals. Fame and blame for Dortmund transfers are shared among the head coach, DoF and CEO; they have to agree on incoming players, and Ciro and Ramos were no exceptions.

since when did Chinese clubs start lashing those kind of fees out?

Only Chelsea can get such good fees.
We'd struggle to sell any of our actual wanted players for 20m to anyone

Absolutely true. Some of the transfer fees they receive for seemingly unwanted players defy logic.

It's one of those to file with the "why do the top Spanish clubs never come in for City players" question.

I smell something a bit bent in the air

They managed to get a combined £90 million for Felipe Luis, David Luiz, Demba Ba and Andre Schurrle over the past 2 seasons alone.

We also paid them £37 million for Mata so I guess we're kinda perpetrators too.:wenger:

Mobsters dealing amongst themselves. What's to wonder about. Money laundering etc. Oldest tricks in the book.

I guess its on the same level as City's income from Etihad, and the billion they received for wearing Etihad branded underwear and using Etihad toothpaste. All in line with FFP, of course.

That Luiz fee, whether it 40 or 50m depending on where you read it was the most shocking one ever.

He was a defender that most people think is sh!t at ...defending. yet goes for a world record defensive fee? Unbelievable.

That Brazil v Germany , semi final was it, where they got lashed 7-1 and he was appalling was very apt
