I wasn't asking you, but in any event; I clearly reference the complete absence of any footballing business by Man Utd in the current transfer window while highlighting the corporate commercial deals they parade in front of us like trophy wives. Meanwhile we currently have one fit senior full back available and have been screaming out for a bigger squad since August.

Not a good move going to West Brom then. I think he's found his level now, always overrated by many on here.
We are scouting Genoa's Mattia Perin as replacement for De Gea in case the latter leaves in the summer.
If de Gea does leave I would probably want Butland as his replacement.
Would love Butland, he's by far my first choice. We'd have him for his entire career, it just makes perfect sense.

I really think that Butland should be obtainable for us so we shouldn't need another option. I know it's less and less relevant for most but we are an English club and I think when there are the right caliber of player available they should be our first choice, like Stones over Laporte as well.
This is just what we need right now, the club is desperate for defenders and attackers and we're linked with a goalkeeper.

AFAIK he's quite highly rated, but more potential than finished article.
What I do know is he's generally a FM favourite with the last few years. If the game is correct, he's a very well rounded keeper who's bat shit insane.
