Which one? Obertan or djemba djemba?

Hes not the answer to our woes. In an attack already reliant on martial and memphis, another inconsistent teenager finding his feet is the last thing we need.

Important thing is that the player I quite like, and have high hopes for is back in the club I want him to be in. He probably is not the answer to our woes (no single player is), but he certainly is not the last thing we need.

I would take Berahino/Ighalo as squad players (back up challenge to Rooney - we currently don't have anyone)
At RW Nolito, Bellerabi, (we're obviously already looking at Mane), Feghouli to name a few (I believe they are all better than Young, so when/if we get our Galactico RW in the summer they can replace Young in the squad)
Oh, I thought you meant there were galactico's available in January. I don't see the point in signing squad player's to be honest. I'm also sceptical any of the name's you've mentioned would be an improvement on Mata or Young. Probably a case of the grass is always greener imo.

I think they would improve on Mata as a RW, not necessarily Mata as a player overall. We need pace on both flanks IMO.
Also our best years as Champions always included signing these types of "squad players"

@Enigma_87
I don't think that would work and also don't think that's Ricci's aim if I recall an interview with him correctly from last summer. That doesn't mean he wouldn't join United in the summer but if so as a LB starter. Although I still reckon he'll end up in La Liga after the Euro.
Agree about this, currently he's more established and better than Shaw, but still can't see Shaw as well being a LB backup. If he's only interested in developing in that LB position and Shaw being back in couple of months I'd rather give him a chance and fill other positions that we need. It doesn't make sense to bench either of them in the long run.

You can tell Muppet season is in full swing, discussing about paying a fortune signing a LB to replace a top class LB we already have and getting excited about the return of a player who's done virtually nothing for the club for 2 years to solve our attacking problems

Shaw isn't top class yet for me but that's not the point. The overall point you make is spot on. Especially Januzaj related hype. His worst is better than Memphis' best apparently. :wenger:

Why would he want to leave Madrid for us?
Unless he is forced out, I can't see it happening.
In all his interviews, Bale makes it clear that Madrid was his goal - and to do well there, long term.
Right now, I can't see why any top quality player would move to MUFC, unless they have nowhere else to go and are being forced out of their current club (like with Di Maria).

Anyone seen her play?
She is the biggest PITA of an agent I've ever seen. However we have to put up with her because her son that she represents is a very interesting midfield prospect and is from the academy.

His goal, but not final destination (i assume). He will never get the same respect he would get from United fans. He'd become an instant hero if he can impact the team and that respect would be sincere, not the plastic respect one could get from Madrid fans.

Imagine that messi and Neymar fused into one player.

The scary thing is - he might have just done that.

No he didn't LVG arguably got more out of him! Jose wasn't able to do anything like everybody (journalists) said he would.

Stop doing this to us!

Can you imagine the interview?

"Well...once the legend of Rafa went, even being in a team who walk over 99% of teams in Spain, and 95% of teams in Europe, scoring sh!tloads, I couldn't bear having to play under Zidane, so thought I'd sign for a manager who clearly isn't there long term, they're out of the champs league, and 50/50 about getting back in"

Sounds legit.

As for Redknapp, what an idiot. "triffic, I tell ya wot, some geezer is driving this"

yes, us you berk, as we'd love it!
