what a mad last few days it could be. Pretty much what we were expecting for months!

Still don't think it's particularly clever to let both Welbeck and Hernandez go. Yes we have way less less games, and Rooney and VP as well as a sh!Tload of Number 10s, but if both VP and Roo were out it'd get awkward.

Confirmed

#mufc and Crystal Palace have agreed a deal to take Wilfried Zaha back to Selhurst Park on a season-long loan.

I'll be very sad to see Shinji go if he does leave, don't think he was given a real chance while he's been here. We certainly never seen him at his best in a United shirt, if he does go back to Dortmund then we simply have to try and get Hummels or Reus as part of the deal, it would be very foolish not to. We have no reason to sell Kagawa, he's the perfect back up to Mata and probably the most talented player we currently have that doesn't make the starting eleven so if we sell him back without even trying to get one of those two then you really have to question WTF are we doing?

£25 million + Kagawa should be enough for Hummels, that's a great deal for both parties.... We get a top class defender we so desperately need and they get their beloved Shinji back plus £25 million to sign a replacement.

We don't want to loan. We want to sell.

Is it so bloody hard to understand you match fixing cnuts.

For the Italian Champs and Champions League regular, Juventus are ridiculously cheap.

It's about time we got some money in, feck loaning players out especially to a club like Juventus who have the funds to pay a transfer fee.

Any idea of loan fee involved. and if they are covering all the wages?

1.5 million loan fee rumored. Cardiff paid us 2 million reportedly for half a season last time.

Option to buy for £10m is the rumour that's doing the rounds. Not sure about his wages yet.

He talks about gaining experience and coming back to United in his statement. Not sure whether there's a option and how high.

why the hell would we let Hernandez or Welbeck go out on loan?! That'd be arch stupidity. Especially as knowing us we'd still be paying most of the wage.

Send him to Valencia. Even if that's a loan deal id rather he went there than Juve. Tight cnuts.

..OR they can have money+player if they include Vidal in it :smirk:

Should not deal with Juve out of principle now, they are cheapskate weird cnuts. Hernandez should go to Spain anyway.

Well with Hernandez we might not be getting bids equal to his worth and a successful loan spell could boost his value over what we'll potentially have to contribute to his wages (if any).

If Hernandez goes would seem unneccessary to let Welbeck go too but could be that given the number of games we play between now and xmas we're happy for him to go on a short loan/season loan so he stays happy and gets some confidence without us having to sell him. Could come back in Jan/next year having pushed on which will be hard for him as without injuries you'd imagine rotation will be limited.

£1.5 million isn't too bad really, especially if the wages are covered, still not quite given up on this guy so glad it's a loan.

Who on earth he is going to sell to come close to that amount?

Buttner - £4m
Evra - £1.5m
Bebe - £2.4m
Fellaini - £15m
Cleveley - £8m
Anderson - £5m
Hernandez - £15m
Young - £10m
Valencia - £8m
Kagawa - £12m
Welbeck - £15m
Nani - £10m
Zaha - £10m
Lindegaard - £5m

Total - £121m

This is spread over this window, January but also next summer. And it is based on the players rumoured to be let go by Louis van Gaal and also based on the assumption (as per the point of the post you were replying to) Ed Woodward manages to extract maximum value for these players like he does in sponsorship deals.

Welbeck for a season would be too risky, as he'd be down to a single year left on his deal.

Good post. All of them are entirely fair valuations IMO except for perhaps Lindegaard and Nani.

We should tell Juve to feck off, not only did they buy Evra from us for so cheap now they want Hernandez on loan aswell, tell them 30 million + hernandez for Vidal or else sell Hernandez to Valencia, i am sure for Kagawa and Hernandez we will have plenty of buyers.
