Super Deporte, Valencia based paper, claims that Otamendi will stay at the club next season, refusing approaches from Manchester United.



Particularly think #MUFC can sign Otamendi for 30-35m. Valencia is known to play hardball in transfers, but they sell for the right price.



Diario Olé, biggest sports newspaper in Argentina, claims that Otamendi has agreed to join Manchester United after the Copa América.
 
We should just bid £40mil for Sterling tomorrow (they won't accept), then sit back and watch the fallout with a real creepy smile on our faces.
 
Pogba isn't a Barca type of midfielder at all. I don't think he'd suit their style. Gundogan would be the better fit.

aka he's heard the Rafa news and wants out or a new contract to compensate him for playing for the FSW.

Reckon Brendan's leaked the Sterling stories so that Scouse gangsters that stopped Gerrard move to Chelsea in 05 pay him a visit. The story even tells them he live in Southport.
 
As tempting as having Di Maria, Sterling and Depay as options on the wings is, very unikely Liverpool will sell Sterling to us

If he chooses us, they wont have much choice would they? They can easily get 30m from us even if we are the only one he wants to move to since he has two years left. We wont let that chance pass.

Wouldn't make sense for Liverpool to leak it though? They want to keep him, he wants to leave. Probably not best plan to give tell the world other clubs are coming in for him.

The fact that he's immensely talented is a plus too.

It does actually make sense I think. It further antagonizes Sterling, and helps them spin PR that Sterling is the bad man in all of this. Some of the yanks here were saying that the Liverpool owners actually use such PR strategies for their US teams as well.

It does. Think what happened when Rooney almost went to City. People, admittedly a misguided minority, turned up at his house threatening him etc. This way, rather than doing a deal behind closed doors and allowing Raheem to escape to United trouble free he has to live in the area with the possibility of moving to United hanging over him. That's a long time for Liv fans to let him know what they think of the idea and let him know what will happen to him if he dares make the move.

Can believe this despite people saying he is not a Barca type player. Hopefully his future can be confirmed shorty after CL final so it can put the Pogba to United dream to bed.
