Would love Milner here. He'd be perfect fit for the system.

Tbf I wouldn't mind him either but he'd be a squad player, and no way would he be paid £165 k p/ wk! But he would be a handy player to have.

If they have indeed offered him that then I can't see Liverpool getting him now if he does leave, if you read some of their forums they seemed to think he was as good as theirs.

Rawk on lockdown of course. How any Liverpool fans even post on that propaganda site, i'll never know.

Loads of competition for places in arsenals attacking midfield. Cazorla, ozil, chamberlin, walcott, sanchez, rosizky and welbeck can do a shift there as well.
City would be the obvious favourites, the need to spice up their offensive options and hitting the english quota.
chelsea could be in with a shout, Hazard, sterling and costa is tasty as hell, with willian and coudrado as options.

I would still like us to try to groom him, imagine him giving liverpool the "little kid" and wanting to play for united dream forcing them to sell to us, or lose him on a free would be glorious. Depay, Rooney, Sterling. Oh my.

Should keep DDG here even if he doesn't sign a new contract.. Most likely Madrid will have a transfer ban for next season so they can't buy anyone and rather have get another season with DDG than get bullied into selling him to that disgraceful club

Other fullback, on the other side, please Madrid.

Okay, so Madrid want to include Coentrao to cheapen the deal. They can shove it.

Think they're saying we value him at 40m and that Coentrao might be included in the deal.
Anything less than £50 million GBP is a rip off. He's one of the most in form players in the world and will only get better. There's an argument to be made that he's worth as much as any outfield player, bar Ronaldo and Messi. If Madrid don't get him this season, they can't get him next. We should let Big Dan Levy handle this on our behalf.

You're dreaming if you think we'll get anywhere near that. DDG holds all the cards here, can't see Madrid paying more than €30m unless we play hardball.

The transfer fee largely depends on how marketable the player is, to the club and sponsors. This is why attacking players command the highest transfer fees. Performance on the pitch is just a slice of the pie, and goalkeepers are never the most marketable.

Well, that's what I'm suggesting. 30 mill euro is sweet feck all. We'd save that much if he went on a free and we didn't have to pay his wages. I'd tell madrid to cough up, or feck off. They need to buy him this season or lose him.

Are Marca just running a de Gea headline every single day now?

That won't happen though, we don't do business like that and I can't see us keeping a unhappy player.

I would assume it gets them a lot hits and it helps further Real's agenda.
