If it guaranteed DDG signs a new contract, would you sign Falcao?

:p

You could probably get 9 or 10 goals out of Wilson, given roughly the same number of games . You'd definitely get them from Chicharito. We'd even get them from Ings, though I'm not at all convinced he's the answer. From what I know, Falcao's contract is net, so we'd probably have to pay him around £15m a season to stink the place up. I can't see it.

This talk about possibly keeping him, it make me wonder if Ballague was right when he said it wasn't a loan and we had signed him permanently but Monaco wanted it shown as a loan because of FFP.

Besides, if we did buy him for like 15mil or so, i'm sure Falcao would have to accept a pay cut. He doesn't seem a twat and i'm sure he would accept that.

Its all ifs and buts at the minute though.

Even if DeGea did sign a new contract, we already know he doesn't want to be here and we would just have this bullshit with Real every summer.
So no.

Yeah but if De Gea signs a contract, even if he leaves next summer we get a proper fee for him instead of the pittance we'll otherwise get.

The only reason we might keep Falcao is if Mendes is still balls deep in us and it somehow gets us another player, or a new contract for DDG. Which is a shit basis for doing business, but it wouldn't remotely surprise me.

Yep. Ever since Bebe, I've thought our relationship with Mendes is not healthy. Looking at our acquisitions in recent years, it's clearly doing us no good.

If he agreed to play for nothing, that would be about what he's worth at the moment.

What a shite weekend, from us getting Gundogan 100 percent, being on Depay to those links dying off and us loosing vs Everton. :)

We've shown interest in Memphis, we've contacted PSV but we haven't bid yet. He's going to move and is currently checking all offers and he's been to PSG and Liverpool as confirmed. We can still bid soon, the transfer can be done in 2 days like with blind since he's currently deciding on his future since he's already won the title and is leading topscorer. PSV will accept our offer.

I still think van Gaal wants him. It's likely we'll play 433 next season. He likes inverted wingers, Young is our only right footed winger and plays on the left. I don't think he want Bale, a 4th left footed winger with one 30 year old Young right footer. He likes his balance in left and right footers. I think Nani will be off too. I think he will fit in perfectly.

A bit of facts, prediction, bias and hope :wenger:

Does it need to be Bale or Memphis? They play on opposite wings. If we had Memphis--Rooney--Bale as our front 3 we'd be a frightening proposition for pace and goal threat.

Exactly what we need. We need some wide players who can make runs behind the defense and are goal threats, otherwise we will see more of what we saw against Everton and Chelsea, plenty of possession, but nothing to show for it. As for Mata and Di Maria, i'm OK with them competing, or if they want to leave, i would not be too fussed over that.

"Biding our time" sounds like our ways from the Moyes+newbie Woodward

I really hope we don't spunk some record fee for bale.

There is an agreement for I.Gundogan to join MUFC in the summer, most likely between the player and the club, not BVB. [Der Westen] #MUFC

Rodgers on his reported move for Memphis Depay: "The kid is a very talented player, but I wouldn't like to confirm either way." #LFC #MUFC

Is it possible that when tweets are posted the text is also posted too, can't see tweets as they are blocked by firewalls at work :(

If we don't move our asses and speak to him and table a bid he'll probably go elsewhere pretty soon. He's attracted interest from a few clubs by the looks of it so we'll need to step in quickly.
