There are two explanations for a possible move to Liverpool:
1. He's not a priority for Van Gaal and we've lined up someone better, like Bale.
2. He's actually chosen to move to Liverpool to follow on the footsteps of Suarez - using Liverpool as a stepping stone to a bigger club and getting lots of playing time in the mean time.
If it's the first explanation I hope we don't regret it later on. He's a great talent and would probably do well at Liverpool, but I'm still sure that he'll move to us. It's only April, don't think there will be anything decided until the end of the season, even though there have been some developments in the last few days.
