Didn't Real have a £7.5m option on him? I'd so, £7m is about what we'll get for him.
 
I'd say they just said "secret" in the article to drum up intrigue.

In reality its not really of much importance whether its secret or not. PSV's season is sewn up. They've said themselves that he's off.

Himself and his advisors will think the more clubs that know about any talks the better so it makes sense to "accidentally" leak the info.

Ok. In the twitter app, click on the tweet, then in the top right corner click on the 3 dots. Select "copy link to tweet" and then paste this link into your post using the media button as normal.

Thanks mate, I was trying the exact same routine before and it wasn't working. Guess it was the poor signal on my phone.
 
Not so sure about Gundogan, surely he'll take Herrera's position in the XI? I know we need depth, but would prefer someone like Schneiderlin who can cover both the #6 and #8 positions in midfield.
 
If its Gundogan + 1 other (a more defensive minded midfielder) then I'll be very happy.

Its its just Gundogon then I'll be a bit worried as that won't solve the defensive 'balance' and he'll effectively just be taking Herrera's position.

He is more than capable of playing in that deeper, Carrick role.
 
Assuming we continue to play the 4-3-3/4-5-1 we've been playing, Gundogan would take Fellaini's job, or just as likely Herrera would take Fellaini's job and Gundogan would take Herrera's.

There are some red flags about a Gundogan signing, but they're all injury based. I think Van Gaal would be happy to have him a CM. He'd help us dominate games and is creative. In that sense, he makes sense if we do indeed sign Depay, who will provide more goals than creativity.

All in all, I think he is worth a punt especially considering a lot of top clubs are after him, for about £22million (I think) it would be worth it. Best case scenario he becomes a world class wide player, worst case he becomes a decent squad player who we can sell for a decent enough fee.

Tbh he looks like the kind of player who against your teams who are traditionally bottom half that can make a difference- off his videos cannot judge against top teams- he would not get that kind of space but he is only young so room for improvement- well worth the punt imo.
