All I know about Otamendi is that he's beast on one of the older Football Manager games, so we should definitely sign him.
Not bad on the newest one either. So is it Hummels or Otamendi? Even if we were to get rid of Jones and Evans which is unlikely then one would still be enough.
Ideally we sign both Hummels and Otamendi. We need some quality defenders asap, especially if we want to win the league next season.
Madrid are also paying attention.
I'm actually quite happy if we don't sign Hummels, i have just written him on my muppet list for the summer, but all the talk about him having a bad season and lacking pace is worrying.
Otamendi seems to have a very good season with Valencia, but there is also other options like Dragovich and Stones.

No i don't think that's the case that he'll use the interest of a other club just to get a better contract.
If his "gut feeling" decides for Dortmund in the next weeks then it's the best decision for him and Dortmund to sign a new contract.
Personally, I'm not too sure about Hummels. I haven't seen a lot of him but ive heard a lot of people say he he's not the quickest.

Take it easy mate. He is just expressing his doubt regarding a player based on what he has heard. He is not calling anyone else wrong, he is not arguing nor is he calling Hummels shite.
Simply expressing himself humbly and bringing in a point of consideration into the conversation. Stop asking people to not comment, especially when it's a fair post.

Mata was easily a £35m player when we bought him, we slightly overpaid but the extra £3.5m was nearly worth it for his personality. With his recent form he's playing like a player of his original price tag or even higher (in a market where Mangala goes for £42m). So there isn't a snow balls chance in hell that we'll sell him for anything less than £30m.
